"We stopped in Interlaken on our way through to Bern. While initially grumpy with the zero visibility of the Alps due to crappy wet weather we decided upon the Ox for our lunch stop - happy we did!! Great space with contemporary vibe yet appropriately Alpen. I had the red lentil soup and a vegetarian dish of the day - both were outstanding. My husband had a tomato soup to start and shrimp & avocado salad. The meat offerings look wonderful as we saw them pass through the room yet it was really appreciated to have the option of such high-calibre vegetarian offerings. The service was warm and efficient. Decent wine list too. We would happily dine hear again and heartily recommend!"

"We were five for dinner and the experience was excellent for everyone. The price is standard for Switzerland But bring a sweater because the heating is switched off."

"Beautiful setting. We enjoyed both evening meals. Loved the Swiss cheeses fondue our first evening, and a local potato "pancake" type mixture. Both were local dishes and were great. The weather was beautiful for our outdoor seating....just hate all the smokers. There is no smoke free side or seating. Deserts are good, too. (Pictures show potato pancakes and view from our table.)"

"Lovely little diner with great food and atmosphere. We really enjoyed the staff because they were very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Tomato soup which was AMAZING and Pork escalope, mushroom cream sauce, peach and noodles. We definitely recommend eating here if you are visiting Interlaken."

"Don't let outward appearances fool you. Walking in, you might think you've inadvertently stumbled into a neighborhood 'dive'. Nothing could be further from the truth. This was truly a culinary joy. Every dish was spectacular, from the tomato soup, to the amazingly light, fluffy, pasta with chicken made in an incredible sauce, to the dessert and everything in between. Your hostess, Jeannette, is a one-person army, making sure you enjoy the best of local cuisine. This place is not to be missed!"
