"Who doesn't love a good bakery, with their fabulous breads, buns, cakes and pastries. Woodfrog Bakery is worth taking a detour for. It's not in the busy part of town, but is a short walk from Acland Street, and it's well worth it for high quality baked goods. <br/ <br/ It's a cute and cosy little spot, with the loveliest staff; but with the current restrictions in place, I was only able to get takeaway. Settling on one of their fabulous hot cross buns and an almond croissant, I was in pastry heaven. The buns are so good, easily some of the best that I've had. I wish they were available all year around, but I have to settle for the Easter period to enjoy these soft and heavenly spiced treats. <br/ <br/ The croissants are available year round and are equally fantastic. With a beautiful frangipane filling, and loads of almonds baked on top; these pastries are worth every calorie. Woodfrog Bakery is a great venue for picking up some delicious breads and treats for home, and is equally a lovely place for a cuppa and cake."

"Lamb skewers were the best that I’ve ever had around Melbourne! <br/ I ‘ve been to many Chinese bbq places and the lamb skewers here were the best : <br/ <br/ Xinjiang Style rice was Ok I will not order this next time. Xinjiang Style chicken with vegetables (small was generous enough for two people.<br/ <br/ Would recommend come here next time for the lamb skewers!"

"Accessible by train, it's 10 minutes walk from the station and a short walk up the escalator to level 1 opposite Shujinku! ORDERED: ? 1/2 tomato soup base ? 1/2 laksa soup ? Beancurd skin ? Enoki mushroom ? Marinated hai di lao beef ? Marinated hai di lao lamb ? Quail eggs ? Lettuce ? Sauces $64.40pp REVIEW: ? Came to watch the hype when the mans performs the noodle dance. Too bad he looked like he wanted to be anywhere else but here ?. The service was unreal. Right from the get go, had the waitress provide a plastic sleeve for our masks, offer me a hair tie, detailed explanation of the soup formations, to making us a tomato soup with suggested toppings, scooping off the excess froth from the broth... it was this attention to detail that blew me away. Food itself was above average. Cuts of beef and lamb that firmed up perfectly within the soup bases, retaining its marinade flavour as well. With extra complimentary dishes as part of the sauce bar, I really went to town on the corn salad. ??? But for the high price tag, lack of MSG at the sauce bar HAHAHA and underwhelming key performance, it ain't a place I will be returning to ."

"Food : Serves an authentic version of the Chongqing hot pot complete with the super spice soup! It gets hotter as you go along, and all the ingredients we had were really fresh and went well with the hot pot. Myriad of sauces for you to combine to your heart's desire.<br/>Service : great, the servers were very attentive.<br/>Ambience : nice surroundings for having a hot pot. We were here during lunch hour."

"Damn Good Indian. I've been wanting to try this place for a while now, being a local. Finally did and glad I chose this place. Pretty damn tasty. Well worth it!!"

"I went there with my young family recently. Upon entering I became aware of a very loud person sitting with friends. We all sat down and placed out orders. During this time this man become increasingly loud. I then decided to ask politely if he could refrain from being so loud. I said I had no problem with them talking I just asked could they do it a touch more quietly and consider the other people dining also. His friends seemed to respect this but he did not and took it personally. This person quickly became aggressive and abusive. I attempted to defuse the situation, with no help from the staff. I walked away and decided with my wife to leave the restaurant. This person came toward me and would not back off despite my asking him to. I then placed my hands on his chest and pushed him away so that my children were not at risk and left the restaurant. No intervention by the staff at anytime. I also observed the other couple in the restaurant leave minutes later and I spoke to them and said they had been uncomfortable also with his loudness and the staff did nothing also. I will never go to this restaurant again."
