"The food here was amazing! As was the coffee! VERY affordable. And the couple working the shop was very nice to us. We had a big party and kinda overloaded them but they took it well. Did take a while but again we had a big party. Was kind of surprised that there is no indoor part but we sat outside and it was nice. They brought our food to us. Can’t recommend this enough as a good local business to support! Go check it out! Another costumer told us this place had the best burritos in town (with reindeer as we walked up and I can’t help but agree, as well as some of the nicest Alaskans :"

"Never eat from there. My parents ate from there before it became a catering company. That's why I give it three stars. Besides, the staff was quite friendly, helpful and had good recommendations to find another sandwich shop nearby"

"I was visiting Anchorage and had no idea where to eat local, so I did a google search for breakfast places and found this little gem!So much food for a great price! There was so much I actually took half of my breakfast with me and reheated it the next morning and it was just as good. Which is pretty rare. The staff was super friendly and helpful.So if your not from Anchorage (or if you are) definitely stop in here for some great food and service.Thanks much! I hope to make it back to Alaska again and to Gwennie’s!"

"Not a ton of vegan options on the menu, but I was impressed by their vegan scramble. They use impossible meat and the just egg so it was very good. They don’t have any vegan butter, but the jam is good. They are knowledgeable about veganism and happy to make dishes vegan which I appreciated a lot. Their lattes were also very good!"

"The burgers, fries, and onion rings did not hold up well as a to-go option. It was very busy at the time (Sunday dinner) and by the time we got our food and drove the few minutes home, the fries and onion rings were a cold and a bit soggy. The burger patties were on the dry side and bun/toppings were pretty mushed/soggy. The burger flavor itself was good and the meal was filling, but textures and temperature did not work well as a to-go option.We will have to try it another time when we can sit and eat there because takeout was underwhelming.Vegetarian options: There was an option for a non-meat burger alternative."
