"Was a very surreal experience the whole thing. I wouldn’t recommend it! The manager of the cafe is very rude. Not sure where to start. Since under new management (previous one wasn’t great either) I’ve been going here every weekend for like 6 months. But won’t go back!!! The start was comical, the server was very confused with the table numbers and who ordered what. Myself and the table next to me we were monitoring his movements to make sure he got it right! And to make sure our order didn’t get delivered to the wrong table. (Not the first time this happens at this place). The food lately is a bit blah and lacking flavour and ingredients. Most of the dishes are small and not good value for money. I used to order always the same. The table next to me asked for olive oil and then lemon and the girl said, ‘it’s like they didn’t taste the food! The salad has no seasoning.’ Anyway all in all I was there max 40m! I have the habit of taking photos of everything so I checked my photos. The coffee took 10m to come and since my food arrived I was there for another 30m. Please note there was no queue, nobody waiting and free tables. After I finished the food I wasn’t asked if I wanted anything else I was just SERVED the BILL!!! I thought was odd as I never seen this done here and I the bill wasn’t presented to anyone else that also had finished and arrived before me. So when I went to pay I asked the manager why did she decide to give me the bill when she’s never done that to me or anyone before? She got a bit muddle up and I said I was going to order another coffee and I don’t understand why you pushing myself out of the door when there’s other people just sitting there on their laptops that also finished ... anyway long story short, I found it extremely rude that after this all this time going there they don’t know how to treat customers (specially the ones that eat! And don’t sit there for 2h nursing a drink). So many places around so plenty of choice. PS a couple of the ladies are nice, so is the chef, but overall is no."

"Tucked away from the busy Acland Street area is this cosy trattoria that I happened to chance upon. The food was great, as Italian food should be. We ordered saltimbocca, pizzas, a lasagna, rocket and pear salad and a zuchini "spaghetti" with prawns. The house chianti was good too. A most unassuming place for the St Kilda location."

"Bruschetta very nicely done bread while the toppings lacked the punch.<br/ <br/ Pizzas generous with the toppings. Nothing else great to write about. The base could be better considering it is wood fired.<br/ <br/ Service very friendly waitress and nice service."

"I LOVE this little cafe. I always come when I'm in Melbourne because I know I can find yummy food that will make me feel great. The staff are caring and friendly and the coffee is delicious. "The ingredients were not fresh, the pizza base was like a cookie. I think that the cooker lacked an understanding of the basic basic bases of the Italian kitchen. I'm not going back."
