"Any steak or grilled chicken fajitas are very good. This restaurant is know for its mocajetes, the mortar / cauldron dish used to cook meat over the fire in onion and tomato juice. They're very good. Great free appetizers and 2 for 1 beer."

"Great Italian and Mediterranean food, the place is cozy and beautifully decorated, the service could improve (particularly speaking about some of the waiters) but overall it is a great experience. Be sure to make a reservation as this place is usually crowded, particularly on weekends. It's slightly expensive but worth it."

"Very popular local hangout.The food is extremely simple.Mixed salad was a combination of various canned vegetables over a bed of shredded iceberg lettuce. Beef steak Ranchero was thinly sliced meat mixed in with a tomato sauce. It was quite tasty, but not exceptionally warm. Two dinner rolls were served on the side. They were rather fresh and warm.With a diet coke, my whole meal came to less than $10 USD.Come here for the atmosphere."

"Hold my hand and let’s step into the past.. the interior is vintage, it has charm if you miss your dear grand mother’s house.. it’s not weird in a bad way.. it’s full on memory lane. Could use a massive update, then again.. The menu...is ultra Français . Loaded with many of the old school classics I was raised on. Back to the future. The wine list is a little on the basic side, specially the French options. The service is really good and attentive, kind and quite elegant, they definitely try hard. Ok.. now the food.. let’s not forget that we are miles from Paris and feet higher.. to be fair, we are so far that I even managed to confused magret and confit de canard, so yeah.. now, the result is, well it is what it is, it’s not amazing, but you are in Guadalajara and I’d say it tastes a bit like when my grandma lost her hand a little.. overall I’m not unhappy, it was a pleasant experience, it was a long walk down memory lane. Lights out. Merci. See you next time. Food hammer: The escargots could use more garlic and real shells, the watercress salad would do much better with an egg “ molet”, the magret, consider grilling it “rosé” like it’s done in the sud-ouest.. the other dish, I’m not sure what it was, I did not order it. La tarte tatin.. more pâte feuilleté nearly burn the apples in caramel before hitting it up with a great vanille bean ice-cream.. a leaf or two of mint.. perfection.. this said, you guys managed to source the right apples, that’s the hardest part, good job!"
