"Close to Christmas with a group. The place isn't very busy at all. We had a nice visit, but I didn't really enjoy my meal that much. It was beef on a bun with onions and peppers. This was just rather blah. I didn't enjoy it very much. Good service."

"I have gone to Hit the spot a few times and have not been disappointed. I usually have the breakfast special with scrambled eggs and in place of the potatoes have a few slices of tomato. The coffee is great and refilled. An other reviewer mentioned that the presentation made the food to good to eat. I have to agree as the plates are square and the food is arranged nicely, not just put on the plate. The fruit on the side is a very nice addition, with an orange slice, and a pineapple slice. Overall this is a great place to eat at a very reasonable price."

"This was our third visit to Rail City. As usual, the food was great, and they were very busy (it was Cinco de Mayo weekend). It seems like the word about this great restaurant is spreading around town. We enjoyed our meal (the specials were Pork Carnitas and Chicken Chalupas) Unfortunately, it was so busy that poor Lindsay was running her feet off and forgot a few things...we ordered a plate of their yummy hand-cut fries to share, which never showed up, and the dessert special (molten lava cake) didn't make it to us either. We felt so bad for the owners...they were just too busy to keep up with the demand. One table actually left after waiting too long to get served. What a shame! Another patron even took it upon herself to get menus and hand them out to some customers. Quite honestly, if this had been our first visit, we likely would not return. But since the food and service has been great in the past, we gave the owners the benefit of the doubt this time. If Rail City hopes to keep on being a success, and I hope they do, they need to hire some staff to help them during the peak times!!"

"Placed an order for 2 panzerottis and was told 20 mins for pickup, arrived 25 mins later and still had to wait 30mins, they didnt even start making them until after we arrived. Al apparently valued my time and patronage at zero since I was charged full price and not offered any extras for the wait. Panzerotti was huge but thin with next to no toppings and invisible cheese."
