"Meal was good and the fact OAP where at a reduced price my only fault was in this day and age there was no Gluten free puddings apart from ice cream which for me is more I have been Gluten free since 1998 and then you would expect that but not in 2022"

"I 've heard Frankie and Benny 's described as a 'posh McDonalds '. Well having visited the Halifax branch I have to disagree. There 's nothing posh about it, a more accurate description would be an expensive McDonalds with better decor. And really the decor was the best thing about it. The man who showed us to our seats was thoroughly miserable and wanted to take our drinks order before we had even sat down at our seats and looked at a menu. When I politely asked if he could give us five minutes he never came back and I had to ask someone else over after about 15 minutes. The place wasn 't busy either. After ordering our starters came before our drinks which I had to remind someone to get. When they did come to waitress spilt it over the table. The food was bland and insipid and despite rocket lettuce 's well earned reputation for longevity mine looked like it was well and truly deceased. Not a single course came as a complete order (there were only three of us) and nothing seemed fresh. I later found out that the whole place was closed down shortly after opening by Environmental Health. If you are going to the new Broad Street Plaza in Halifax I would try anywhere else to eat first, including any of the mobile burger vans you might find."

"Went yesterday with grandma and nephew. Wide range of choice on the menu, including breakfasts, cold sandwiches, hot meals, kids meals and so on. Me and my grandmas both had a roast of the day and you could choose from a selection of meats, beef,...pork or turkey. We both had our roast with beef and it was so delicious! Everything from the beef, to the Yorkshire puddings, mashed potatoes, veg and the gravy! The portion was just enough for me, I was stuffed when I left!!Our meals included the choice of tea or coffee, this was included in the price of the meal. My nephew wanted fish fingers and chips, kids meals also included a drink with the meal, you also got the option to have bread and beans or veg. The chips were excellent, not one bit greasy. The portion was just right and for you can’t really go wrong!! Friendly atmosphere and great service from staff. Food didn’t take long to arrive to our table either, which was good as my nephew was hungry. They also do take out. I would definitely recommend to everyone, the food was delicious!! I will definitely be paying another visit!! Our total for the whole meal came to around which I wasn’t expecting!! Again would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely experience will definitely be back!!"
