"Just want to let everyone know, This place has the best calamari and chips(which is what I had) and fish and chips in Sydney. "I recently visited this cafe and had a mixed experience with the food and beverages. While the cafe had its highlights, there were certain aspects that left me underwhelmed. Let 's start with the beverages. The orange juice, priced at $8, seemed overpriced considering it was similar to what you can find in a supermarket for a fraction of the cost. Additionally, the taste was not exceptional and had a somewhat artificial flavor. The mango smoothie was meh, nothing extraordinary. The latte lacked that special touch to make it stand out. On the other hand, the mocha was described too strong, but that 's purely a matter of personal preference. Moving on to the food, The Big Vegetarian Breakfast left much to be desired. The tomatoes were sad, and the mushrooms were bland, resulting in an overall underwhelming experience. Despite some dishes being visually appealing, this particular dish didn 't offer much in terms of taste. It was also mentioned that the portion size was not sufficient for a big breakfast. The haloumi, beetroot relish, sautéed spinach, and warm focaccia combination was decent. However, the Eggs Benedict was average and messy to eat, although this could be expected from a dish like Eggs Benedict. There’s not much to say about the chips, they tasted great but the serving size was a bit small. It 's worth noting that while the food didn 't impress, the customer service at La Bottega Café was impeccable. The waitress created a welcoming atmosphere, and the manager was friendly and outgoing. Additionally, the cafe is dog-friendly, which adds to its charm. The cafe creates a visually pleasing atmosphere, especially on sunny days when the natural light floods the space. The ambiance is enhanced by the charming surroundings, making it a delightful place to spend time. Adding to the appeal, the presence of two puppy mascots that roam around the cafe adds an extra touch of warmth and joy. "Live more than an hour away from this restaurant, but on several occasions, my family and I have driven to this restaurant to enjoy their food and cosy, authentic-Chinese kitchen atmosphere. You can tell from the scents and the taste, that the dishes are all made there. My mother, being Northern Chinese, found the food deeply nostalgic of her hometown, and calls the place the best she has tried in Australia. I suggest booking a table in advance, as it can be crowded at times. Staff are attentive and well-trained in their job, and also quite friendly."

"I came in the afternoon and sale is on. With a big “50% sale” sign on the display window, it’s hardly to missed. Bought 2 pastries for under $5, it was $4.50 to exact! What a bargain. Bought apple triangle, this specific dish hardly in sale, so I grab this pastry when I had chance. Apple was perfectly cooked, pastry was crunchy and flakey, and over all wasn’t overly sweet. Also cheese snail was delicious. This pastry is one of my favourite too, apart from ricotta and spinach pastry."

"Close to the water in the picturesque suburb of Sylvania, Finesse Eatery is a little Asian Fusion crown among the thorns. Complete with a crowd pleasing standard menu and lots of seasonal specials, this unsuspecting little spot, packs a huge flavourful punch!!<br/ <br/ We had to try the Asian inspired specials! Couldn’t resist the soft shell crab burger, which was warm crispy and swimming in a delicious sauce. We highly recommend the massaman pulled beef on purple cabbage. It was full flavoured and super tender. Would love to see this dish front and center on the standard menu as it was so delicious. Never had anything like it for brunch. Next we had the salmon benedict, with perfectly gooey poached eggs, but we were missing some avocado to pull it all together. <br/ <br/ There were no sweet items on the standard menu, but we did spot the vegan coconut toast on the specials board and were dying to try it! Complete with coconut yoghurt, house made jam and maple syrup, this dish was a vegans dessert dream! To finish brunch we stole a dish off the dinner menu and ordered their famous deep fried ice cream in a light and crispy filo pastry. <br/ <br/ Overall a lovely experience, excellent customer service, and creative flavours in every dish. We weren’t expecting the Asian influences from looking at the standard menu, but we were so thankful for the surprise! Very excited to see the spring/summer seasonal specials next time we visit! <br/ <br/"

"From the minute we walked in, i knew i would like this place . To say the food is excellent would be an understatement because it was top of the tops. I was so happy the 3 of us went there and we were all super impressed. The food was exceptional. I had the Vegetarian breakfast it was so deeeeelicious. 2 poached eggs 2 pieces of sourdough mushrooms in a cream sauce but not too heavy Sauteed Spinach and a hash brown, which i ordered separate My sister had a Lamb salad For the price she paid you won't find this quality anywhere else. The lamb on the salad was cooked on a spit and she said it was very tender and the salad itself was gorgeous. My partner had the Big breakfast which consisted of spinach, bacon, eggs, sourdough, mushrooms and tomatoes. It was absolutely divine. I am not related to these people but I was so impressed because it was just after breakfast had closed and we really wanted breakfast. The staff asked the kitchen and to our surprise the chefs said yes which we were very lucky to still be able to get breakfast. That was a plus for me because they let us have the breakfast , where as other places I know, just tell you No without even checking..... The smoothies are sooooo fresh and so nice. I guess I just want to say I am one very happy customer and I'll be taking other people there for sure. Very reasonably priced even the tables were made out of Tasmanian oak the people have gone to a lot of trouble to deck out this place and it's well worth it Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5"
