"With all the obvious Viennese dishes, all well cooked, it is hard to choose from the menu but I can say that the schnitzel I ate was just right - still moist inside but with crispy breadcrumb crunch outside.Service is as expected at a Vienna cafe. Cost is reasonable €60 for four people.Get a table on the covered terrace to be out of the sun/rain but booking is essential.Lots of families taking Sunday time out in the Turkenschanz Park does mean the noise level from children is high, and they scamper about across the terrace a bit too."

"We went to this place because it was a cool looking cocktail bar where you could smoke.(They also have a non-smoking section). I liked the design and the atmosphere. The drinks were terrible. I work part time as a bar tender and I tell you if you tried to sell a cosmo like that in New York the guests would run away. The Sex on the Beach was drinkable. The server was disinterested and did not ask me how are my drinks. She saw I did not drink it.I told her to take the cosmo of the bill and she did. So if you planning on drinking beer or coffee I guess it is ok but the Cocktails suck and are relatively expensive. The waiter told me that the Cocktails come from a machine. Hmmm."

"My wife and I made a reservation at this restaurant by email, to be sure that we would have something to eat after the opera performance the Magic Flute' from Mozart on Friday The staff was very friendly and helpful, that was no problem....The menu card was written in German language, which is strange, because we think this restaurant attracks many tourists. We noticed that the kitchen apparently couldn't handle the orders. Many people had to wait for their food quite some time. After our diner, which was nice and tasteful, we asked for the card so we could have a look for a dessert. In the meantime we saw several people leave the place in displeasure, and I saw the waiter (who we asked for the card) clearing tables and rearranging them, while we still had not received the card. it was fairly clear to us that the entire team of the restaurant couldn't cope with the stress at that moment. So we also left the place, like many other people, without having a dessert (because we were afraid we would have to wait for it too long). However, what bothered me the most afterwards was the settlement. The waiter allowed himself a tip of over on the bill. The bill says Trinkgeld on top of an amount of So I paid It is of course my own fault that I did not check the bill. But we were glad we could leave the place. As a waiter, you just have to dare to be so rude to add unasked such an amount, while you can also notice that everything goes wrong. Conclusion: I think this restaurant has the philosophy that it mainly attracts tourists, to whom they do not need any explanation, because they only pass once. With a site like Tripadvisor they will have to revise their vision, I fear."

"Had lunch here today with friends. The croque monsignor was delicious. Oozing with cheese and ham. The lunch menu was great too. Delicious salad (although small) and an excellent lasagna. Good strong cocktails as well. Highly recommended!"

"Honestly, a great wood-fired pizza, comparable to mari or pq in wien. however, the service and the atmosphere were quite bad. first the place was full and despite the reservation we had to wait to get our table. the whole place is so. shortened, it is difficult to get on their table without five more guests on the way (so much for social distancing). everyone is incredibly close together. also, this is definitiw no Italian style place where they sit and enjoy their food and drinks for a few hours. we were constantly rushed by the waiter who came over every few minutes to see if we are a) ready to order, b) ready for them to take away our tellers and c) pay and go because there are other guests waiting to take our table. By default, her table is reserved for an hour for half, so that the rush is felt all around (competitors run, guests wait, everyone crawls and they feel like the personal they just want to go). also the aperol splash is 60% ice. this place did not live up to its hype, but the disco ofen is a plus would order the pizza to take with or to deliver, but certainly not be back here."

"Fantastic Food and attentive service. The owner and waiters know what they are doing. I cannot emphasise how consistently good the food is. Lovely wines too. Sit down available or take away available. A separate smoking room too. A garden too. On main street. Pizzas very good. My favourite is the Pumpkin Tortellini (Halloween time) the best i've ever tasted. A short walk from the tube stop Ober St Veit line U4 and only 20 mins to Wien Mitte. You won't refret the effort to travel to this place. It seems to be open all the time!"

"Recommended by our hotel, which was close by, we ordered, and shared a salad, schnitzel and a beef dish. This way, we got to try each meal. Everything was delicious. Heurigen is a Vienna thing, that has to do with Vienna wine history. It's an old tradition, which you can research before you try the experience. The modern form is updated from its origins, but the history is pretty cool. The salad was a combination of greens and veggies, potato salad, and kraut. We loved it, and was filling in itself. The meat was tender and tasty, each having its own spices and flavors. Try Heurigen here !"

"What a welcome you get in this place ! The chef shares with you his obvious passion for cooking Umbrian food - which I'd never tried before. The food and ambience were perfect. I ate a starter of clams in tomatoes and garlic baked in a "pie" of bread which you tear off and dip in the sauce. I am counting the days before I return to Vienna on business to eat this again ! Superb."
