"The place charges Berlin prices but delivers well: Wiener Schnitzel is outrageously yummy So are the other dishes, like fish or veal Wine list is top in the area, in fact this is what L&W is known for, a wine place with good quality food in Berlin Gendarmenmarkt. This is what they replicate in Heringsdorf. Go."

"“Jo, mir san mi'm Radl do...” we could have singed on our bike tour from Heringsdorf via Bansin, Ückeritz, Stubbenfelde, Kölpinsee to Loddin and back. Almost 50 km have come together, in the evening our hunger is correspondingly great. We're sneaking for Deftigem. On the way from the apartment to the beach we regularly pass a hotel complex on the Heringsdorfer Eichenweg. Upstalsboom – Hotel Ostseestrand stands on the signs in the house. The hotel offers food in a restaurant and in a bistro. We decide for the bistro tonight. The hotel with bistro and restaurant is located directly on the water. Both locals have an external gastronomy along the primitive mile. Because it has become somewhat cooler, we prefer the guest room in the bistro of the terrace. We enter – and are surprised: a mixture of coffee house and genre library. Brown and red tones dominate: brown parquet flooring, brown wood carving columns, a large brown bookshelf, brown wooden tables, red wallpaper walls, cozy red-claw armchairs and under the bookcase a contrasting green bench. This is very cozy. After the bike tour, relaxation in the comfortable armchairs is good for us. Four stars for the ambience. When entering the “Culinary Library”, as the hotel calls the Bistro, we are greeted by a friendly middle lady. She serves us in the evening, is very versed, attentive and friendly. You know she's doing her job. When asked, she gives information about the food, asks if we like it and if everything is right. She has the “store” alone and exemplary under control. Four and a half stars for the service. The Service Lady gives us the menus and gives us enough time to choose our dishes. Regional and good-bourgeois dishes are mainly offered. My wife decides from a rich range of carvings that differ in the supplements for the • carving “Dracula”, a carving with frits or salad and with garlic and chili (12.90 €). I decide for the daily offer on a table in front of the bistro: • Currywurst XL with french french fries and salad supplements (8,90 €). As a drink we take a Grauburgunder: • Grauer Burgunder Q.b.A., 2016, from the Winzergenossenschaft Wasenweiler (0.5 l, 13.50 €). The wine comes to the table at a temperature. We wait a little, quite suitable for the preparation time of our dishes, and our service is served by the typical German calorie dispensers. Schnitzel „Dracula“ Two nicely browned carvings lie on the plate of my loved ones, framed by well browned frits, a salad set and a Klecks Chili-Knoblauch-Dip. “Well seasoned,” my wife says when she tries the carvings. The carvings are juicy and delicate in meat, the frits are very well prepared, very nice crispy. In the salad set of cucumbers, tomatoes and leaf salad, my wife also finds currants that give the salad a fruity taste. But my wife misses the “Dracula” in the garlic-chili-dip, a kind of spiced mayonnaise. The bathroom could have worn more “fire”. Currywurst XL with frits and salads A long curry sausage lies on my plate under a stroke curry sauce. The supplements on my plate are the same as the supplements on my wife's plate. I also find currants in the salad leaf, my fries are also excellent tanned and prepared. When the curry sausage is cut, I notice that I have a regional variant on the plate. The sausage is not a classic sausage, but a wine sausage, as it is often won as a curry sausage in Berlin. The Siedewurst is for me not the Knaller, I prefer the classic Bratwurst as a curry sausage. But we are on Usedom and here it is served. Who's asking? The curry sauce should have been sharper for me. But it still tastes, beautiful tomatoes and a little seasoned. The serviceman tells us later that the cook takes into account the average taste. Many people don't like it sharply. This time, my wife evaluates her food better than mine. My curry sausage is pretty okay, my wife values her carving with "good", i.e. three and a half stars for food and drinks. We have nothing to do with cleanliness. The guest room is well maintained and clean, plates, dishes and glasses are without a tadel. Four stars for cleanliness. We pay the price/performance ratio to “good”. We were served more than well, and the dishes have tasted us, so four stars. We recommend the Bistro at the Hotel Ostseestrand. As a result we give four stars."

"It's Friday night and we get hungry and seafood appetite. What remains to eat as if you are not at home and in the Baltic Sea on Usedom. So we wanted to make another fishy evening bread at 7:00. We had chosen the new Domkes Lüttes Fischhus, which is not so long in the seaside resort Bansin of the municipality of Heringsdorf in one of the three Kaiserbads. As mentioned, we landed quickly, smiled and hungry on fish dome. Offers are regional Pomeranian cuisine and that means: fish and other marine animals baked, steamed, cooked, fried, smoked or fresh or as salad or fish meat. If you enter, you will be advised that there is a self-service service, so who does not like it, you need to weigh down, appetite for service.... The menu is a chalk on the board above the counter and on runners, with drinks it is also treated. In the counter you will find the desired dish and also the piece to be prepared. It will land in the pan. Before you pay to wait at the table, a summer is programmed, which is unfortunately not a red lobster, but only a square apartment something, about 10 x 10 centimeters. Although I knew what would come, I was a little afraid when the little box was lost. That means your food is ready, please get yourself! The drinks ordered are then taken to their place immediately after payment. It should be set and occupied in advance because it is often very full and with a hot plate in the hand, while standing is certainly not really fun. My treasure decided to fried zanderfilet, with pommes, salad and Remoladen sauce. The clamping on an oval plate serves a red porcelain lobster at its edge. I had again the long fully edible sticks, which after which they were heated intensively in boiling water for a few minutes, are no longer hard and no longer brittle. There were plenty of chili oil, garlic, tomatoes and shrimp, served on a dish in fish form. The area behind the vault was used by two obviously Polish workers. They were diligent and fast. All I could see was very clean. My look into the kitchen, I sat so that I could see something that told me that are constantly on cleaning as soon as no order is completed, is wiped with a paper cloth and then disposed of. You like to see this as a guest. Together with the beer for each of us I came out of the number with about 30 euros, I did not take the ticket. You can not mug and recommend fish dome."

"We looked at the two Kaiserbads Ahlbeck and Heringsdorf on a cozy tour. In the evening, as always, the question arises: Where do we eat? The Thai Garden, a restaurant of Villa Oasis, is very good for us from the hung-out menu. There's sharpness here, characterized by a peperoni, two or three peperonis. That's right for us as Scoville guys. The Thai Garden is located directly on the lake promenade of Heringsdorf, in the low floor of the Hotel Villa Oasis. In the park landscape around the villa lies the restaurant's outdoor restaurants, attractive arrangements of tables and chairs under parasols. Since it has become a bit cooler in the evening, we choose the restaurant. At the entrance we welcome a friendly young lady, we have free table choice. Some tables are occupied. The guest room is tastefully decorated, white ceiling, ocher-colored walls, brown floor. LED spotlights on the ceiling illuminate the white covered tables with the surrounding red striped benches and chairs. The windows are white, pictures with Thai food motifs on the walls loosen the appearance of the guest room. A very attractive ambience. If we've taken a seat, a nice young lady will hand us the menus. They, whose accent is on Eastern Europe, and other servicemen also serve us the evening. All ladies are very friendly. The service is accessible to guests, for example, wishes for sharper worting are met without any problems. “We can always make sharper, we cannot neutralize,” says one of the service ladies. We need to study the menu first. The peperonis as an identification for the sharpness help us in the selection. Finally we choose both Phat Krapau khee, in wok roast lamb with garlic, onions, paprika, bamboo, prince beans, peperoni, oyster soy sauce and basil (19,95 € As an appetizer, my wife Tom yam Ghai, a clear sharp chicken soup with mushroom, lemongras, coriander, lime leaves Our wish will be met in a stateless and friendly manner. Later, the service ladies will put a bowl with oil-laid peperoni pieces on our table. The wine's coming to our table. He sounds excellent to us. It doesn't take long to get our soups served. Tom yam Ghai, a clear sharp chicken soup with mushrooms, lemongrass, coriander, lime leaves and cherry tomatoes The chicken soup is beautifully sour thanks to the lemon grass, it is sharp, and it contains neat meat and fresh mushrooms. She might not be prepared. Tom yam Plah, a clear sharp soup of fine fish with mushrooms, lemongrass, coriander, lime leaves and cherry tomatoes The same applies to my fish soup. It contains lots of fish, is wonderfully sour and contains many fresh mushrooms. We make the soups with the provided peperonis in oil even more sharp. The soups become true treats. The lamb dish does not wait long. Phat Krapau khee, in wok roast lamb with garlic, onions, paprika, bamboo, prince beans, peperoni, oyster soy sauce and basil There are several back slices lying on our plates. They are very well seasoned and sharp, the vegetables are fresh and crisp. The rice is served in a separate bowl, it is loose, not sticky. Despite the very good seasoning, we also help with the sharpness. The dish is hot, hot, hot. It tastes excellent. For food and drinks we give the Thai Garden full five stars. The kitchen understands her craftsmanship. We have nothing to do with cleanliness in the guest room and on the tables. The evaluation also remains after my wife visited the ladies' room. The price/performance ratio seems reasonable to us except for the wine, which is in the upper range at 6,90 € for 0.2 l. Four stars seem to be justified here because of the perfect service and the excellent food. For the Thai Garden we give a clear recommendation. Four and a half stars for the conclusion seem to be fully justified. The around 70 €, which has cost us the evening, have been well designed. We are happy to return to our apartment."

"A dinner with two people for 53.60 Euro A quite annoying evening in the lake view and a nice example of how different it is advertised for guests. Only yesterday I had praised the words in the menu of the Achterdeck Your quotation Your satisfaction is our goal, because we know 'To win a guest it takes years to lose it enough a few seconds ' and in contrast to this today the words that are to be found in the map of the lake view. Here it is assumed from the outset that it cannot please the guest and everything is very great and pleasant and friendly that the guest should then decide at the end but himself. Quote: .... and would be very pleased if you would visit our restaurant again to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere, our friendly team and our regional and Mediterranean cuisine. Also another quote from the map we hope you had a pleasant stay at our restaurant Seeblick for us unfortunately not too. And also in the lake view you will find the set in the menu For changes within the map we will raise an impact of € 1.50. Apparently, these restaurants run so well that they can allow themselves to do so without burying guests, see the history in the previous critique of Emperor Wilhelm . The evening's going. After all, besides the obligatory tomatoes and fish soup, there was a day soup, after which I did not even ask, as I had decided for me already baked feta cheese as an appetizer. As a main food, I chose the pork fillet sea buckthorn due to the tasty description. My wife, who sat with just a little hunger over me, ordered a senior Zanderfilet. The most disturbing all night was the miserable long waiting times. 20 minutes to the appetizer and another 30 to the main dish. How long would it have taken if we had paid a fee to exchange the supplements? First, however, a basket with a mountain of white bread/baguette pieces came to the table without comment. Very unesthetic, a complete mess of very many end pieces and various varieties. An impossibility it looked like a remnant collection. Little fresh and after nothing tastes. After 10 minutes I asked what the bread would be, whether there would be butter coming, a greeting of the house? or .... Answer: we always give it to feta cheese... which then came 10 minutes later. Well, with unpanned feta, you can't do much wrong except he burns. It tasted like... warm feta. Just look at the picture with no love! Doesn't look particularly welcoming, does it? The senior Zander of my wife was good, the cucumber salad also tasted as well and so we had to discuss an evaluation between 3 and 4. Because my pig fillet offered a new and also good taste experience through the combination of lende, pear and blue cheese, but that was it. The small potato roasted eggs under the pork fillet were barely visible, but the plate was very sugar-choten resistant. All in all, one had no great desire to eat through the waiting room and another visit to our side will probably not come again. But as always: everything is subjective despite as objective assessment as possible. The assessment of the ambience refers to the terrace. Our food and beverages: Rounded between 3 and 4 stars by the rebooking fee. Feta cheese original wheat baked with tomato, onions, Kalamata olives, Pepperoni and garlic 8,90 € Germania House speciality Meat: pork fillet sea buckthorn, medallions grilled, baked with Williams berry and blue cheese on crispy potato roasted on a lukewarm sea buckt mango sauce Berliner Weiße 0,3 l 2,80 € Lemberger 0,25 l 4,70 €"
