"While walking along the beach front on an autumn evening we found this restaurant which has views over the sea .Even though we didn’t have a reservation we were quickly offered a choice of tables . The friendly waitress happily translated the menu and although...it is a speciality fish restaurant there were meat choices aswell. The restaurant quickly filled up but our dishes were served quick and were all very tasty . We both choose from the 20 Euro menu . Would recommend"

"When we arrived late we couldn't find anywhere or eat, the bosses welcomed us in a super friendly way and offered us, Artisanal beer, pinchos and charcuterie board! It was great, home cooking and quality products! And a welcome up! I strongly advise!"

"This was the second visit to Le Suisse, first for a beer only, this time for something to eat. Not many places open Christmas night but a good ambience outside with the decorations. We had the same friendly waiter, practicing his English. The special Kir...royale with a local cerise was delightful. The bisque was fine as were my 5 snails. The Brandade de moru, fish pie was what my hubby wanted and did not disappoint."

"We just wanted a light lunch so chose this restaurant to sit outside under canopy out of wind. We ordered sardines and were then told could either have starter at €11 as per chalk board or main at €14 so we chose latter. Good move...for plates came with well grilled sardines with pureed potatoes and also pureed carrots and a tomato salsa most enjoyable with a glass of cold white wine. Very good creme brulee as well. I think let down by very cramped eating area with tables too close together.In fact most were 3 seats a side with only one way in or out, so likely to have to disturb others on arriving or reverse if earlier diner leaving. ,"

"Unpretentious extension of the cafe inside the Market Hall. Elderly metal tables and chairs set up outside under parasols. No reservations, menu on chalk boards, one glass per customer. Sardines a speciality (some of the best I have eaten) but tuna also recommended (but be prepared as saignant is the most it will be cooked and any further requests will be refused). Inexpensive and extremely good - quality local produce cooked and served simply."
