"I'm from a small town. I understand, not a whole lot of demand for our type. not a big thing. the vegan sandwich they offer is a pack in this green Frankenstein stuff. I owe you. it was a salate with hummus. I dug them apart from the packaging. I have chips and salsa for $4. ends up to tostitos salsa. I guess most of their things are being processed. from my 1 visit, I can suspect that they are first line a coffee shop that happen to make sandwiches. will I be back? there was only not much to get into tc while I was there. the cards with animals, as the other person mentioned, were not enough to please me. I suppose here is my lower line: if this place was in my city, I would never do it. the only reason I'd go back is if I go back to tc and need a quick solution. next visit in the north I'll bring my own food."

"I found their service to be incredibly kind. I do t feel comfortable bringing my toddler inside restaurants right now and the host turned on two patio heaters so we could sit on the porch. We went in to order food and drinks and everything was delicious. Thank you for being so hospitable"

"Folgarelli's is an excellent special market with deli sandwiches that are absolutely wonderful. I think this is the best sandwiches in Michigan, perhaps even the world. This special market has many imported foods and a large selection of wines. Olives, pastas and many other dry and canned products are available to name just a few. But the real star of the show here is the Deli. An amazing selection of cheese from all over the world, as well as a wide selection of Deli meat. Italian specialties such as Salami and Capicola, and American standards such as roast beef and turkey are all here. You can buy meat and cheese at the pound and make your own sandwich, but the smart move is here, Folgarellis make you one. The sandwiches are excellent, on a variety of fresh bread with ingenious meat and cheese. The homemade accents are gourmet and delightful the Pesto Mayo and sun-dried tomatoes are two of my favorites, and the homemade Italian dressing is great. Create your own sandwich to order or choose from one of about 40 handmade combinations. And don't forget the dessert homemade cookies and cannoli. Seriously, when it comes to Deli Sandwiches, Folgarelli's king. An option in beautiful Traverse City cannot be missed."

"Don’t go here if you’re looking for a quick to go beverage. Just stopped to pick up a hot chocolate to go for my young son and not only was it $5+ with tip but we had to stand there and wait 20 minutes for it! I get that places get busy, but they could have warned us that there was a long wait or they could have slipped the to go drink order in between the dine in drink orders as those customers were sitting comfortably while waiting for their meals. I eventually asked for a refund as we couldn’t wait any longer, but he wouldn’t give it to me since by the time I asked our drink was up next to be made. Honestly he should have given us the refund and the drink at that point. I always choose to support local businesses but in this case wish I’d just taken my kid to Starbucks like he wanted."

"The ham is absolutely The Best ham. We love the food here. Not just half or full hams and great sides, but excellent sandwiches either to go or eat in store. We stopped in for lunch in early Jan 2020. The staff is great, very friendly and polite. The food is fresh and a fair price for the quality. Our sandwiches were wonderful, real honey baked ham, large pieces on fresh bread. Perfectly made ham salad with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Stop here every visit to Traverse City."
