"Our handling of whiskey jackets has always been for food. We are in the area and it is our way to place if we want a meal, but the possibility to eat is not always possible by small children. We found the foods and the portion sizes to be excellent. The ingredients are always fresh and extremely tasty. Whiskey Jacks will continue to go to our restaurant and not just because it is nearby."

"The crepes were okay, they were tasty. The service was slow and the tables are uncomfortably close together. It was my first time there, trying out a different place, supporting local but I'm afraid it didn't impress enough to rave about it. If the service had been better I may have been swayed. 45 minutes to take our order was too long."

"Seriously, I don't normally take the time to rate food, but this was the worst I think I've ever eaten. We ordered the Indian Mee Goreng - which claimed to be spicy on the menu, it was not even in the slightest bit spicy and basically tasted of the noodle only - no other flavour whatsoever. Also had the Singapore Mee Hoon which claimed to have chinese sausage (of which there was 1 small piece), chicken pieces (2 small pieces) and prawns (I think I saw three small ones) also tasted of nothing but the noodles and some oil. And lastly we had the Nasi Goreng. This was basically fried rice with some egg and bean shoots - slightly better than the noodle dishes - but not much. In short there was little to no additions to the dishes other than the rice or noodles themselves. Very, very, very disappointing."

"Great coffee and excellent Wifi. I have not sampled their food menu yet. Staff are efficient and courteous. This location by Shipyards Park has a free parking lot whereas the location down by Main St is surrounded by metered parking."

"Refreshing to find a nice little cafe with parking out the front, friendly staff, good homemade cafe style food. This is a nice cafe when you want to walk in, get a seat and not be surrounded by crowds and noise like bigger cafes. Enjoyable"
