"Used to use this pub sometimes when I worked about a hundred metres away at Raymond Buildings over a decade ago. Not much has changed, still a good independent pub with lots of different areas for customers and welcoming, friendly staff. There's the usual wide...selection of traditional real ales, craft beers and lagers and some big multinational beer brands on offer. I didn't eat, so can't comment on the food but my pint of Tangle Foot was excellent. Worth trying this pub if you're in the area."

"Nice pub just a short walk off of Euston Road. They have a few beer choices so there's something for everyone. They also have a cat which is obviously a massive bonus. Staff are friendly too. Only down side is that it's a bit pricey, but that's the same for everywhere nowadays, especially in this area."

"I got drawn into this place I was in old Kentish town and needed food asap. Was mainly drawn in by someone's vegan fish and chip review. Update- they do not have this anymore. They served a beet and quinoa burger now which is what i ordered. Chips super oily. And burger was very very bland. Prob only come if you're stuck for food. The venue is just a very loud sports pub. Unlikely to come back. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-18"

"I had been contact with Toby and Pete for months in trying to organise an event for my workplace. Both were incredibly polite and helpful over email and on the phone, even when there were a few hiccups with other parties also wanting to book on the same dates. Still they were very accommodating and disclosed plenty of information when it came to allergens and ingredients. In terms of the actual event, it was very nicely delivered in the cellar bar. The food was exemplary and those serving were informative and friendly. The venue was a very nice spot to hang out in as well. If I have to book this pub again for an event again I wouldn't hesitate. Maybe just a bit of feedback that might help in the future. It might be helpful if alcohol was used less in the vegetarian food as some of the guests I had couldn't eat the items because that wouldn't make it halal. However, this is a very minor point that didn't affect me personally, and I would recommend this place to anyone."

"I very much enjoyed my meal there. It was a working repast and we talked and ate at the same time. The staff were very generous with their time and my minute steak and salad was just what i ordered. The dinning room is long and kinda moody a really good space. We also used the meeting room for a group of about 12 people in the evening. It was perfect. Very good easy going venue. Recommended."

"Come and eat! my wife is gluten-free and they were able to give her a quality and top flavor. her three cursor is up! the crispy aubergine and zucchini chips were a hit. the salmon is the most unique and delicious I've ever had. all desserts were quality and excellent."

"One of my favorite things at the weekend is to go for a good Sunday dinner, so I was excited to be invited to the ship tavern in holborn. I usually do not dare to go too far from home in south london for a honeymoon, so I had hoped that the trip to the center would be worth it. the restaurant is located right next to the tube station, hidden away a little next street. if I'm honest, it doesn't look as much from the outside – it looks like a typical pub. but they climb up a staircase from the road and they find themselves in a beautiful, cozy, candlelit hideout! "The best fish and chips I had in a London pub, and probably the only one I managed to finish even though it was a large part of how it was delicious! The oil was not smelling (sometimes you have it in the pubs) and I didn't feel rough after eating, just felt very full. My friend said the burger was also very good. In addition, the staff was very polite and it felt really cool, just sit and have good meal and beer, nothing imagination (although prices were not so much, but I was mentally prepared because, well, it is Hampstead, but also £6 for a pint is only London's sad reality now it is not). Thank you."
