"I went with a group on a Sunday morning for brunch. Our food came relatively quickly but my French toast was pretty soggy, although the flavor was delicious. There was waitress who was also hosting, and a bartender. The food was not bad, but the service was slower and inefficient. I would try it again though."

"Nancy calls me on the phone ?Allan we must go to this restaurant I just passed by-tonight! ? Now that may not sound alarming to some but we NEVER go ?out? to restaurants these days or hardly ever. Well, it turned out to be the right move as Tonic is exceptional! A great mix of DIY ordering, unique menu, friendly service, and casual yet classy feeling overall. Go!"

"I crushed this place today. I stumbled in and realized it just opened. I wanted to order their Cuban, which looked delicious, but their 'sandwich of the day ' was staring me in the face, so I went for it. Soppressata on baguette with some fancy cheese, mustard greens, cippolini onions, and stone ground mustard. Came with carrot salad, which was chopped with green onion and parsley and lightly dressed. All of it was fantastic. Great size portion, without making you feel like you need a nap. The service was quick, but the atmosphere still felt warm. You could grab to-go, stay and have a quick lunch, or hang out and read while having a beer. Fills a huge gap on the downtown mall."

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"Everything we ordered were delicious. Especially the fries. We ordered second fries. The service was excellent. Only funny thing was that there was a small bouncy ball came from nowhere and hit the wall and dropped on one of us. About 1-2 mins later another small bouncy ball hit the restaurant window next to the couple sit not far from us. A waiter reported to the manager and the manager called the police and reported the incident. Like the restaurant very much and highly recommended."
