"We were revisiting our old home which was 66yrars ago. It was so nice to see the bar was the same. Beer and wine was excellent. The service was great very friendly and went out of the way to make us feel welcome. Five of us had a evening meal which of course in our day was non existent we all enjoyed our main courses the apple crumble was to die for. It was nice to see the snug was still there and the extension into the Cheese House. Also the outside with heated Boothe's and fleeces provided. The garden area we enjoyed in the afternoon with a vodka tonic, cider and chilled larger top. The toilet facilities was very modern that was part of our bathroom!! In our time the kitchen was down below the bar, which now was a good size up stairs. We were all so pleased to see the Old Dog and Bull flourishing may it continue for many years. Well worth a visit in the old town. Thank you to the staff for making our return so memorable."

"Went on a Wednesday night. Food was superb, service excellent, ambiance warm and friendly and not intrusive. We have already planned to return for another birthday and one night when they have live singer. That’ll be fun and festive."

"The Porter and Sorter is a pub that goes above beyond! I was booked to perform a P!nk tribute event as part of a cancer fundraising eve…not only did the staff host an incredible eve, they painted the entire outside of the venue bright pink, changed all the lightbulbs for pink ones, the staff all dressed in pink as well as pink decor throughout the venue. Everyone had a fabulous night and all guests I brought along to the pub were made so welcome they can’t wait for the next one. These guys don’t do things by halves, a real little gem!"

"Fantastic place, a lot of tables, a good sized garden, great staff, wonderful looking food (altho' i didn't partake, sadly) Fabulous live music. We saw Justin and The Argonauts Superb! A gem of a place, very close to Town centre East Croydon station."

"Visited the Keg Grill for mothers day and was blown away by their fantastic service, not to mention their delicious food. Myself and my family felt so welcome and they made sure we had everything we needed. Food was amazing, something for everyone! Will definitely be coming back, highly recommend!"
