"Pleasantly surprised with this homey local eatery. Too bad we didn't discover this place sooner. Food and service was excellent, honestly no complaints. Got the swordfish special and it was cooked wonderfully. Wife had the catfish dinner and experienced much of the same. Catfish came with a unique bell pepper slaw that's worth a return trip."

"Wow!!! I must say, I was expecting something a bit more casual good, but casual. Lou Ann and Eric Herget. Chef Amanda Denys and the staff absolutely blew me away...with everything. One of the most Memorable dining experiences I have had in quite a while. This restaurant is so beautifully appointed, so comfortable and warmly familial. You get a sense that this restaurant has been a part of the family, and within the family, for many years. My wife enjoyed one of Amanda's specialties, Shrimp and Grits (with candied bacon). Even I, a person who shies away from the texture of grits, enjoyed sampling this dish. I ordered the tenderloin and potatoes. My dish was perfect in preparation and presentation. Paper thin strips of leaks garnished my beautiful cut of perfectly prepared medium rare tenderloin. And, I don't know what type of magic goes into the mashed potatoes, but they were chunky, savory and absolutely delicious! Wow, again!!! My wife and I enjoyed a round of the Heights Corner Market Gin Tonics, for our desert. Yes, a bit backwards, but we enjoyed every savory sip of fresh basil, cucumber, gin and Fever Tree tonic. It is damn difficult to please this mixologist/bar tender, but I was very pleased. This is a perfect summer sipper. The price for this delicious meal was worth every penny spent. Eric and Lou Ann have hit the mark with the Heights Corner Market! This is a great addition to the Heights restaurant community."
