"This was hands down by far the best meal we had during our time in Zurich. We spent the weekend with friends and locals and came for dinner here on Saturday night. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and the staff and felt looked...after from the very first second. The menu is seasonal and filled with local produce which speaks for its quality and freshness. Amongst the of us we indulged in fabulous beef tartar (which was incredible and way better than the one we had the night before at Loft tender wild boar, the mussels, the vegetarian risotto and vegan butternut squash. Being out with a mix of carnivores and vegans can be tricky these days but this restaurant truly caters well to both tastes and maintains the same quality and care in each and every dish they bring to the table. Everything is prepared fresh and with an eye for detail. With the owner being a sommelier himself we left the wine selection to him which turned out to be the perfect pairing for our meal. We finished off with a true swiss classic chestnut Vermicelle and also tried an amazing unalcoholic Seedlip Gin Tonic. Wirtschaft zur Au still manages to maintain incredible value for money with its portions not only delicious but also very generous. It is a restaurant which is perfect for a dinner with good friends, a romantic date or a business lunch as the beautiful interior and atmosphere invites for great conversation. Needless to say that we will be back on our next trip and cannot wait to see what will be on the menu"

"Locale situato a Zurigo quasi al centro . Estetica del locale gradevole, e per questo sono voluto entrare con la mia famiglia per poter "cenare " . Ci accoglie un cameriere ( all' apparenza sembra cordiale e gentile ). Dopo aver ordinato le nostre "pietanze " , arriva per primo il mio piatto ( spaghetti alle vongole )e dopo circa 5 minuti il resto ( linguine con "scampi "). E qui inizia il casino o incubo per un italiano .... iniziamo dalle linguine , se nel menù c' è scritto scampi , non mi puoi portare dei gamberetti calibro 150/250 ( cioè quelli piccoli e surgelati ) ed un gambero Black Tiger, il tutto accompagnato da una salsa rosa tutta collosa in se , cioè di scampi non aveva niente . Ed ora vi spiego lo "spaghetto alle vongole " , che arriva ben 5 minuti prima delle linguine e consisteva semplicemente della spaghetti con tutta l'acqua versati nel piatto , una cucchiaiata di salsa di pomodoro e pochissime vongole. Appena arrivarono i piatti notai subito che il piatto era pieno d'acqua , provai a mescolare il tutto e provare, ma era semplicemente senza sapore ed amore. Chiesi alla cameriera di poter ordinare un altro piatto , lei mi disse che non era compito suo ma del collega( che arrivò da me circa 15 minuti dopo ) ,qnd gli feci notare il tutto mi disse solo un attimo e torno( ritornò dopo altri 10 minuti ). In totale dopo 25 minuti e lui finalmente era da me e mi chiese quall era il problema,chiedi io il conto . Arrivò la proprietaria e con un sorriso ironico mi dice non avevi fame, ed allora spiegai il tutto. Mi portò il conto dopo non aver toccato niente, e dopo aver pagato il tutto normalmente, mi dice semplicemente noi facciamo così!!! ( questo per mio parere non è un atteggiamento professionale per il proprio mestiere e sopratutto per i clienti)."
