"This place is as "traditional japanese" as I am...The decor could be considered ok but the ventilation system is very poor for a teppanyaki restaurant. We wanted to try a set dinner but the choice in the menu is quite restricted (only 3 options). We opted for a Kobe beef set dinner. We got a trailer with "complimentary" appetiser (a small piece of the head of a fish which I thought was tuna), a small salad, a miso soup and one small cube of pineapple and one small cube of mellon. The latter we later come to know was our "dessert"...We were then served a single plate with a few small prawns, three scallops, a bunch of beansprouts and some Kobe pieces. The plate was later accompanied by a fried rice that was disgusting and I left it untouched after first spoon. We had asked to minimise the use of margarine before to be served since we were in front of the teppanyaki chef and we saw how he was using a spoon to through margarine at the grill with a generosity that we cringe at but regrettably the meat was soft but way too sweet for our taste. We did not got anything else. The check for that plus a glass of chardonnay and one kirin beer was an astonishing 13,200 pesos for two.It was a robbery, I sincerely recommend everybody to stay clear of this place."

"We bought 6 coupons last Nov 2012 in a group buying site. I was thinking that it can be a good chance to have a dinner with my friends and also have my advance bday celebration there. The deal costs P330 that is good for 3 people. We chose the food—set A which consists of Tonkatsu, 5-pieces Soy chicken Gyoza, 5-pieces Japanese meatballs, Tori Karaage, 3 Rice cups, 3 Miso soups, Potato salad, and Coleslaw. My friend called at the restaurant and reserved 5 coupons on Dec 8, 2012. Two days before our reservation, we decided to reserve also the left coupon. My friend asked one of the staff in Izumi if the reservation is already settled, and the girl staff replied yes. We had our reservation at 7pm. My other friends came there at 6:55pm, but I and the others are late and we arrived there at 7:45pm. Since we're late, we have seen that the waiters already prepared the foods on the table. My friend who holds the vouchers tried to ask the waiters if they can wait us before they prepare the foods, but they didn't grant my friend's favor. Aside from that, they didn’t even consider the voucher that we added to our reservation. They said that it was a late reservation, but my friend said that she called two days before our reservation, so how come our reservation was late? The waiter said that they will look if they can do something about it, but it ends to nothing so we just let things go through. We just hope that it won’t happen again to other customers. In terms of the restaurant, I can say that they have a good place. It is not actually big as we expected but they have a beautiful interior design, the ambience is really great. The foods are good, enough to fill the tummy. What I like most is their Tonkatsu and Tori karaage, perfect for Gohan rice!"

"Came in for the sashimi on a saturday night and asked the waiter if the sashimi was good tonight. He said it definitely was, and so i ordered a spicy tuna sashimi for an appetizer and the uni don as my main. The spicy tuna...was cut so badly that it tasted like leftover fish trim and the uni don was extremely watery. When i asked about the lapse in quality the server told me that the sushi chef had the day off and it was the reliever preparing it tonight. THEN WHY did he tell me it was a good night to have sushi. Anything to sell quickly expiring product i suppose. To top it all off, my girlfriends chawan mushi (a steamed savory custard soup) arrived after the meal was done. Apparently it takes 30 minutes to steam a chawan mushi, a fact that was left out as we ordered it. I asked that it be taken away as we were done eating, but our waiter pretty much begged us to take it as it would be coming out of his own paycheck. Guilted into a soup, thats always fun. My girlfriend had the katsu curry and that, to be fair, was pretty good. When the bill arrived, not a word was said about the bad sushi, uni don or soup. The whole experience was the opposite of a relaxing japanese dinner, and left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll never come back here for sure and i reccomend others to do the same."
