"This pizzeria/restaurant is very simple but the staff are very friendly and the food is really good. Pasta is home made, and the focaccia (which you can have with custom ingredients should you fancy it) is sublime! You don 't need to book, just drop by...and enjoy!"

"The grotto is nice and cosy, not very central but close to the center and easily accessible by public transport. we have been kindly served and have fed very well at very reasonable price and enjoyed an excellent tessiner merlot. we will definitely take the grotto grillo back into account at our next Lugano visit. by the way: there is even an extra dining room for smokers."

"L'Osteria La Pecora Nera non é molto grande, ben decorata e con un atmosfera molto piacevole e simpatica. Ogni volta che mangio qui, rimango stupita dalla qualità del prodotto, dalla freschezza e dalla creatività del cuoco, un ottimo cuoco. I vini che vengono proposti sono ottimi e vengono ben consigliati in base al piatto accompagnato. Ottimo locale, che consiglio vivamente per chi voglia godere di una qualità/prezzo che pochi a Lugano possono offrire come loro."

"Vado e torno sempre con piacere per pranzo con colleghi di lavoro. Vi dico che gustare un piatto di gnocchi fatti in casa (burro & salvia, pomodoro, ragù, gorgonzola e noci) è sempre un sano piacere.Il posto è un po' anonimo, il servizio molto cordiale e gentile. Insomma se siete golosi di gnocchi almeno (offrono anche un menu del giorno e Hamburger maison) provateli. Prezzo corretto in centro a Lugano e veloci"

"Restaurant with great differentiating identity than the average. seems to enter a real greenhouse, where plants and vegetation are lush. beautiful lakes with tarturughes and waterfall. Well-functioning Wi-Fi, and quality pizza over expectations! Great value for money. kind and prepared staff, even if I recommend to make even more unique this place is different, to provide uniforms from botanist or gardener, all the waiters, because in my opinion jacket and tie stonano with the environment. However I was impressed by the place and I will certainly be able to tell a different experience in a different restaurant."

"Some of the worst sushi I’ve ever had. We asked for a mixed plate, but we couldn’t have it. So we took some tuna and salmon maki... a disaster... Rice was badly cooked and fish simply not fresh covering with some sweet sauce simply doesn’t work. We also ordered some fish salad messed up with fried chicken. Wild rice was ironic... 5% wild rice mixed with simple white rice way overcooked... way too sweet... no idea what was in it... probably dead shrimp... Wine is overpriced even compared to better restaurants in Lugano.. Spring rolls were ok, service to Italian speaking only and kind of English"
