"The very warm and attentive service, the good food without a crisp, appealing drinks. all among the great roscasia. for us 3 a really pleasant birthday evening. in the good quarterly place you can feel really comfortable. obviously, there are also many masters here; a good sign. By the way, an excellent teig is produced for the pizza. the wine selection is not luxuriant, but the offered wines are good and inexpensive (you can drink some fresh beer here)."

"This place is great for both pizza and focaccia sandwiches. Very fresh ingredients, imaginative toppings, and nice people. There are only a couple of tables so I avoid the lunch crunch and many people do take away. This is one of my favorite places for...lunch in Basel. Dinner would be fine, but I usually go to a more sit down place for that."

"In my now 30 years of eating pide outside regularly in different European cities Camillo makes by far the best spinach pide I ever tasted. He adds a fine note of mint to the spinach, spreads the vegtables evenly and with care and uses tasty feta cheese, not some dogdy imitation cheese (that resembles mozzarella). It's juicy (the toping) and cripy (the dough) at the same time. Very friendly chef and his wife."

"Good food, polite and helpful staff. However paying the bill, we were forced to pay the restaurant's poorer exchange rate to Sterling rather than pay directly in Swiss Francs which I would have preferred to do."

"We initially wanted to try Swiss fondue at Walliserhof but they were closed for lunchtime on Sunday so we crossed the street to try this instead. We both ordered off the special menus.After getting used to Swiss prices the menu here came as a nice surprise. It was 20 francs a 3 course meal including salad and dessert. The salad was nothing special, the pizza I ordered was huge and tasted amazing - I think the toppings were onions and hot dogs, or something like that. My boyfriend got the linguini, which was good but nothing special. However, they gave us apple strudel with vanilla cream for dessert which tasted lovely. All in all, there was way too much food for us to finish.The place was quiet and seemed to be populated by locals, even though it's in a hotel. It doesn't really seem like a tourist place. One minor annoying thing is that there is no English menu. Food was pretty decent, especially for the prices."
