"Ordered an extra large pizza online at so we could enjoy a halloween movie with a slice of pizza. Requested the pizza to be delivered ASAP. We had to call up a few times to chase up at what stage our pizza delivery was...at as we were not able to track this online (the idea was there but it wasn't working). Employee who answered phone said that they had sent the driver out with multiple orders and could not give a time scale but that the pizza was with the drive at the time we called. At approx. we called a third time as we still hadn't received our order. The employee stated that there could be a hour delay during busy times but we highlighted that this was not stated on the website because if it had been we would not have used the online platform to make our order. At this stage, we were considering cancelling our online order and reordering on the phone to collect. The employee appeared startled by this and did not know how to respond. Understandably, hours is a very long time to wait for a pizza to be delivered even if they are busy!! Fortunately for Papa Johns Christchurch, the driver had arrived whilst we were on the phone. To top things off, we realised that the extra side we ordered was missing! The pizza was really tasty although a bit too cold for our liking (it had arrived warm Overall, this was our first experience ordering from Papa John's and we doubt we will use their service again unless we are going there to collect ourselves. This clearly shows that they were overrun and need more man power to run a smooth service."

"Ordered our food on a Saturday at 6.15 a.m. and it all arrived fast and really hot. someone had obviously really taken care of our pizza, as the toppings were really nice and laid under the discs. many thanks for it because it tasted. we always had good food from here, but tonight was extraordinary. forgotten to make photos until we had eaten some of them:"

"Just returned from this place, ordered large meat feast, large veggie and small margarita, paid and returned later minus large Veggie pizza. Said to the guy behind the counter that I was missing the veggie pizza and his answer...was no as I didn’t order one, I then explained that he had messed my order up and he was making out that I didn’t order one questioning my integrity. Asking him what he was going to do about it he said we can cook you one but I would have to pay for it, to that end I had to keep my composure and walk out. I don’t leave reviews but I thought I have to do this and warn others of their incompetence and unprofessional attitude, plus the pizzas were cold"
