"I visited a few days ago and safe to say i’m very disappointed and will never be returning. The place is overpriced, i paid for ONE scone with a tiny bit of cream and jam which didn’t even taste nice, my daughters waffle was...bland and cold by the time it came out, which defeats the whole point of it being called a warm waffle! I got given a broken cone, which snapped shortly after we received the ice cream, and they were then hesitant to give me a pot to put my child’s ice cream into. An angry man, who i presumed is the boss barged his way in and started shouting at the staff, which left a very awkward atmosphere. The staff were very quiet and weren’t very chatty at all, almost making it look like they didn’t want to be there and wanted to get us out of there as soon as possible which was very rude, they also kept there masks on to say hi n then took them off shortly after while still taking our order what’s happened to coronavirus?! Very disappointed and won’t be returning"

"First time visiting this location! The Loaded Steak, Chicken and Potato Bowl and the Grande Homewrecker was also tasty. I little heavy on the black beans though. Bathrooms could use TLC!...and buy some cleaner and deodorizer!"

"An early evening meal here was good and the atmosphere is friendly, we were sheltered indoors this visit but when the weather is better you can be outside. Oh yes and when it is quiet you could use their indoor pool for a small change. We saw several people book it whilst we were there but didn 't come equipped to swim ourselves. Mawgan Porth also has small shops including one that still sells the last pots of the proverbial Roger 's Own Jams lovingly handmade in Trenance enjoy them! We first discovered this delicious local jam maker some 6 years ago and always buy a pot of strawberry or rasberry jam in a shop at St Mawgan. You can also buy the local farm eggs at the shop in St Mawgan."

"Stopped in Helston needing lunch and chose this excellent establishment. They had just sold out of the fresh crab salad so we chose to have the Mediterranean salad and the smoked salmon, mackerel, prawn salad to share with each other. The food was superb and beautifully presented and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Nearly a 5 star but for slowness of service and the inclusion of Feta not the advertised Halloumi in the Mediterranean salad."

"Called in for a gluten free pizza at lunch time. No offers available even though gluten free is already more expensive.Came uncut.When asked the chap to cut it he said they not allowed to,(all it needs is a clean,separate cutter). No cutlery available so had to pull it apart with my fingers and all the mess. Very unhelpful. Unsatisfactory. Wont go to Dominos again."
