"It is hard to make any specific recommendations as to what to order at Manuka because the menu is constantly changing. However, this is one of its great strengths and part of the allure. After visits on several different occasions, I have yet to order anything that does not measure up to the high standards they have set in terms of quality innovative cuisine. The flatbread, roasted cauliflower with avocado puree, chicken in miso sauce with pickled cabbage, kale salad with roasted quinoa, butternut squash pizza, and tiger prawns with green chili, are all fantastic! To top it all off, the chef is extremely personable and is kind enough to answer any questions you may have, sharing tips on how he prepares each dish in a way that I have never encountered before. You can tell he has a true passion for sharing his knowledge of food with others."

"Now called freo pizza factory we went there for a 10-year birthday pizza family meal. our group had four children under 5 and they were quite loud and very actiw; the restaurant took it in her strips, were super tolerant and...served the most delicious pizzas. and being a Tuesday night, it was very good! before we were there and the pizza quality is consistently very good."

"Spudbar is a homey little spot right in the heart of Freo and it's a place that seriously gives you VALUE FOR MONEY. The food is super fresh, and is piled into a large bowl, for as little as $11, with a whole steaming hot sweet potato included. I had the vegan chickpea and kale bowl and I totally loved all the naturally delicious toppings and condiments. They cater for everyone! Everything is gluten free, they have vegan, vegetarian and meat eating options, and various sizes right from a large full size spud to a small little snack size. I would definitely rate spud bar as being one of the healthiest, most versatile places, to eat, and one of the best priced places as well. I will certainly be ordering another spud very very soon!!"

"Yum!!!! Muffle in Freo markets was delicious! Love the light crispy waffle pocket balanced with creamy soft serve and yummy toppings. Ordered the peanut butter with vanilla soft serve $10) and the daifuku $12). Really liked how there were elements of the flavour you ordered in the waffle pocket peanut in mine and mochi in his). And the overall flavours were delicious. Can't wait to go back and try all the other yummy flavours!"
