"We had dinner tonight at Le Martagon, a summer evening, most alternatives closed. We came on recommendation and we were very happy for the experience. Excellent food, surprisingly prepared salad and fantastic meat 'a la plancha'. Good relation between quality and price. Who wants to have a decent dish does not have to expect any sort of deception. We were delighted, especially by the exceptionally friendly service. Good selection of wines."

"Convenient for the central ski area in Mottaret about 100 metres from Plattieres lift. Popular with very good food and drinks, including interesting beers cocktails. Pizzas are a good size with plenty of toppings. Range of savoyarde specilties, burgers pasta often a good plat du jour. Occasional live music. Reasonably priced for the 3 Valleys. The owners have been Telemark skiing word champions there is an impressive range off medals crystal globes on display. Highly recommended."
