"Large open underground dining room around an island bar, with a disco radio playlist. Chili oil on tables. Vegan cheese available at no cost. Big dough crispy in the middle. Note that the pizza funghi comes without tomatoes. Wine is served in pimps. Dali speakers in the toilets. Ideal for a quick dinner before or after a movie at Everyman Kino above. "We’ve been to Refuel Your Soul twice, because we really enjoyed the food great French cuisine, suitably veganised. Main courses are generally well priced, especially considering the quality of the ingredients they use, but pricing of starters and desserts seems less consistent £14 for a tasty, but very small starter and the same price for a dessert seems a little excessive. We ordered a bottle wine on both visits and were surprised (1) to find that the wine wasn’t French and (2) to have to ask for the price and then be told on our second visit that the price was between £30 and £36 (we were billed £36) for a fairly standard bottle. Our final bill had a bit missing and we almost added a tip, but when we asked, we discovered that the service charge had already been included. Although the food is great (and the people here are friendly), the pricing puts me off. Hoping they can come up with more transparent and consistent pricing in the future adding wine with a more reasonable starting point and including it in the menu would be a great start."

"If they are looking forward to the breakfast, this is a must-go. to be vegan and free of wheat, this place was totally on my road. I loved the vegan porridge with all toppings. so nourishing and fulfilling. I could not help order the matcha pancakes, but had not enough space to enjoy them properly. they were yum. some of my friends ordered the bowls, everyone was very satisfied with eating. chilled vibes, dog-friendly. value booking at peak times."

"Had a Biff’s takeaway from BrewDog Dalston on their new app. Chose the Father Jack crispy jackfruit patty, ‘bacun’ jam, beer battered onion rings, bourbon bbq sauce, smoked Gouda cheeze and lettuce), Bacunator fries ‘bacun’ jam, garlic mayo, bacun bits, spring onion and parsley) and the Burb Wingz jackfruit wings topped with bbq sauce and spring onions). Arrived pretty promptly. All toppings for fries and wingz are in separate pots to assemble at home. Biff’s advise you to warm the wingz and fries in the oven to get them ‘crispy AF’ before dressing them yourself and it’s really good advice. Absolutely delicious and wingz are a revelation. It’s pretty pricey with delivery so def only a treat but can’t wait to try their vegan poutine fries!"

"Hands down the best pizza I had in London plus they don't charge extra for swapping dairy for vegan cheese, and their vegan cheese are indistinguishable from dairy (at least for someone who hasn't eaten dairy in a while)."
