"Salsa picante is a hidden gem in the shopping center north lake square. this hole in the wall family in the owned and run Mexican restaurant has a huge menu. everything from start to flan is authentic and handmade. elaborate and satisfying simple comfort eating is made by scratches with love from the ladies in the kitchen. this place has been serving the comfort with the old school style for years. they serve dive on real plates with real cutlery. recently, they updated their take-out game by adding online order to the traditional phone order option. when they read through the reviews here, I encourage them to disregard the few bad reviews and to take the love of local regular who had no bad experience to know. added, I am still early on my trip through her huge menu. I can say that the al pastor is my favorite tac and I enjoy the wet burrito. I look forward to trying the green pork burrito. I recently decided to try cheeseburger and the pommes after several recommendations, claiming that the quality of the Burger option in Mexican restaurants should not be underestimated here. this burger was a classic example of how simple things can be done well. its larger, fresher and less expensive than most almost food burger combos. because it is not a burger place, the fries and the planter are freshly cooked when they order. I have to love riders who are hot and crispy. besides the standard toppings, salad, tomato and pickles are the linings the hot steamy freshly grilled tweezers and the creamy melty white cheese. it is a great value for what they get. it is also the only cost-effective take-out cheeseburger combo on each menu in easy to foot from washington and lake. So if they are in the neighbourhood, I highly recommend that they give this place a try soon."

"This place is love. The cook brings an amazing effort to make the most tasty food ever. The chicken is so wet, I can't believe it? Check out the menu before you arrive. Country style is very little spice. If you ask for spices, it will be hot quickly. Everything on the menu is really great food. See if the cook tells you his secret recipe. Do not park in the red zone in front of the restaurant on both sides of the road. They'll block the firedept, so the red zone. There are metered parking spaces next to Central Park. There are shaded terrace seat west of the entrance."

"Love that they are open later then most tea locations for a refreshing late night drink. I am partial to the peach, passion fruit, mango black tea, light sweetness. For work events whenever I order Tpumps they are quickly a crowd favorite! I always marvel at how fast my drinks are prepared the staff always seems to be in a good mood. A little happiness in ya late night cup!"
