"We rented a chalet in st. adolphe d’howard when we took part in the ironman triathlon near mt. tremblant. we needed a restaurant that served pasta (the carbohydrate packaging was necessary to do before a triathlon) and gios was reachable to foot. this is a large Italian restaurant, which is located from the beaten stretch in a remote village the heart of quebec. the food was excellent and the quantities were perfect for our carb packing. we all had different shapes of pasta and we trated each other and they were excellent. the pasta was obviously fresh in the restaurant. the wine list was good without being big. service was excellent although the menu was only available in French. our waitress supported us by the ordering process. it was a cool evening, but we sat on the open terrace, with gas heating. I was friends, but I wish I was with my partner as it was idyllic."
