"I'm not a pizza person unless it's really good thin crust pizza, and my husband is a pizza lover who is allergic to wheat now. So... we need to find a good thin crust pizza place that also offers gluten-free option. This place has definitely met our needs. We have a large mixed salad (if pizzas alone were not enough) and 2 personal pizzas. What do I know? These were pretty good pizzas even tho they were advertised as just good for 1 person. I have the regular Italian sausage pizza and my husband got the gluten-free Hawaiian. Yum! GF chest was like a large maizestortilla."

"Their shrimp scampi is the best that I've ever had! Last year was the first time I was there, and one year later, I was still craving it but nervous that it wouldn't live up to my memory. It's still amazing, and I went back twice in my two week visit to San Miguel de Allende!"

"I wanted to correct a mistake in my rating of 9/14. We were recently in San Miguel (7/15 and were delighted to return to Casa Chiquita. When searching for their vegan options (we always make sure!) the staff kindly told us that there are honey in the crust. The cook told us he would make us a vegan crust in a few days. We gave him our email address and emailed them a few days later, but no answer to the vegan crust. Cudos, to be honest. We're sorry we couldn't separate ourselves. We also did not want others to be misled by my previous review. 9/14Great wood fire pizza. Not many selections (they only serve pizza!), but the veggie (without cheese was fabulous. The pizza oven and the execution can be found at the entrance of Hotel Casa Chiquita. If you decide to stay there and eat what you should if you can on three flights from stairs to the roof where there are three tables and some Adirondack chairs, a pond and beautiful garden area. The view of the Parroquia, the roofs and the surrounding countryside is a spectacular setting for delicious dishes. If you go in the evening, make sure that an additional layer can make it cool! Would give 5 stars if they don't serve meat. Updated by previous rating on Wednesday, 24. September 2014"

"We live in the neighbourhood and this is our place for the best burgers in the city and some quite amazing hot dogs. our dog loves the place so much, he regularly pulls us there. plus, nice atmosphere and consistent large service."
