"The pizza at Sternen is not your typical thin base, large disk pizza. They serve them with a thick (and extremely tasty) base, smaller in size and thick toppings. Love the pizza Carlo with Gruyère, bacon and mushrooms. Salads are excellent as well, lovely dressing.Sternen is a classic, the pizza here is really different from anywhere else. Despite the rest of the menu sounding appealing as well and there being seasonal specials, I always go for the pizza. Too good to miss out on... The restaurant itself is simple, maybe a bit sterile and outdoor seats are at the street. But service is friendly making up for that."

"This place was a great find at the end of a long sightseeing day in Solothurn. Great value for money, their seasonal specialty truffle salad was a great start but the flammkuchen truly stole the show. The dough was thin as paper and fully packed with sour cream, amazing ham and lots of onions. And their list of flammkuchen is endless, must be a great place to visit with a big group and share the different varieties."
