"I popped in this little cafe as it started to rain heavey I had a lovely ham salad sandwich it was lovely and fresh no fat on the ham and a lovely mug of coffee."

"I ordered a large Chardonnay which was nicely chilled an of a pleasant flavour. I chose fish, chips and mushy peas which came with a generous pot of tartare sauce. The meal was hot and service was prompt and cheerful. The fish was delicious. It was flaky and of an excellent texture and the batter was crisp and pale golden brown in colour. The chips were tasty and the mushy peas among the best I have ever had. For dessert I chose sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. The pudding was certainly not sticky and was spiced which I found most odd and not at all pleasant. The whole was topped by a fairly tasteless, presumably, toffee sauce. I have to say, though, that the Phoenix is a very good town centre pub."

"If you're looking for great, well made coffee, then this is the place to go. The food is really nice and there's a good selection on the menu. We've been a couple of times and the staff are friendly and is a nice atmosphere both in the morning and afternoon."

"Really great food great delivery time can highly recommend the pizza and fries and bottle of pop deal and they except cash not like the muppets at dominos Pizza Hut I mean it has our QUEENS HEAD ON AND ITS CALLED “cash” I’ll only be using TAMWORTH PIZZA COMPANY in future Five STARS for food Five STARS for service"

"Not from Tamworth and stopped here for a lunch whilst driving to a short stay rental for Christmas. Had pretty high hopes due to pictures on their social media, and was excited to see so many free tables as walk ins the day before Christmas Eve. However, was really disappointed by both the customer service and the general conduct of the staff the person who served us on the till didn’t seem to have a clue what they were doing, food took a long time to arrive and everything arrived at different times despite having ordered altogether, no one checked we any cutlery (we didn’t) or were happy with everything (we received the wrong drinks). We didn’t see anyone clearing any tables and felt mostly abandoned, only spoken to when our order was finally brought over. The pizza was very nice and generously topped with cheese which earned the two stars, but was generally unimpressed with my experience."
