"We booked the create a bear experience for a fun, festive afternoon. The experience was advertised 1:30pm 3:00pm. We arrived at 1:25pm and were told to head to the conservatory. The three children sat down and were told there was an option of just two remaining Christmas characters. Thankfully, the children were content with the odd looking bear and the penguin. No chance of the elf as they had been given out already! At £18 per head we were looking forward to an afternoon of fun! The children had the stuffing given to them and were told to make their stuffed toys. Within ten minutes they were done! A picture was then put on the table for them to colour in. Whilst they were colouring the team began packing everything away. We were not even 25 minutes into the 90 minute experience! We asked about the food to be told to go to the bar. We ordered from the bar for the food to then come out separately and take at least twenty five minutes to reach our table. The food was adequate and the children ate it. Although, I did have to chase the whereabouts of their food…a common trait of FJ. I complained to the pub who said they would not be using the bear company again. They did not care one bit that we had been charged £18 per child for an experience which was falsely advertised! No Christmas compassion at all from the Farmer Johns extremely disappointing!"

"2 hour wait for pizza; 1.40 minutes late. Extremely rude woman on the phone whose response to “please could you tell me how long my delivery will be?”, was “no, we’re busy, everyone is waiting”. Food was delivered correctly and hot, but extremely late for my young children, and the customer service was terrible."

"The most awful pizzas we ever had. Whole family let down. We were charged for offer 4 pizza which are the family size. When we got them home they were only 12 inch as we measured them. When we called the shop they offered only one pound off next time. The family were hungry as we had already waited an hour for them! Then things got worse. The base was like chewing cardboard. So we decided to go to the shop. They offered a 2 pound refund for overcharging and food that wS not edible!!! So I threatened to report them to the police and food agency for overcharging and putting small pizza in big boxes and lying to customers . I wish I would have got a full refund but finally with voices raised they gave the 6 pound overcharging money. Worst experience in Milton street from a fast food outlet. Should have gone next door to Khan's or Pearl's...or caspains....or even pleck eateries but not here. The most ridiculous thing they said it was an Italian base....in reality they are clueless at making pizza! Rest of food is ok."

"The driest pizza I’ve ever had and a rip off for £8.99. Maybe it’s because they keep the dough by the door and the cold air dries it out not sure. I ordered bbq base chicken and sweetcorn. Chicken was flavourless , couldn’t taste a the bbq base. Tasted like dry cheese on toast. Waste of money"

"Incredible wood-fired pizza: genuinely one of the best independent takeaway pizza places in the area. Plenty of offers/deals and lots of menu options too. The pizza dough is really soft and tasty, and doesn’t taste dry or excessively salty like Domino’s etc. Oregano unfortunately don’t deliver to our address any more but we just make the 15 minute drive to collect instead because it is that good!"
