"I was informed that Kalma recently was awarded #1 restaurant in Argentina — not sure if that is accurate or who gave it that distinction. In any event, we had a great meal last night. We opted for a La carte rather than the tasting...menu. We started with the King Crab hotdog and the Tortilla with King Crab and Wild Salmon appetizers. The tortilla dish was the star here — a wonderful dish. We next had the the lamb tortellini with green peas and herbs (delicious) and the Wild Salmon (which they explained escaped from Salmon farms in Chile) with carrots, potatoes and mint foam (this was exceptional). We ended with Levistico Sponge Cale with white chocolate and an Apple pie with pepper and whipped cream, both scrumptious. All told a wonderful meal with great Malbec by the glass."
