"Stayed for one night in the fort Erie area. I saw this cafe on trip advisor and thought I would check it. It was fantastic. The food was delicious and the service was so friendly. I highly recommend this place."

"Freelands is a very nice full service restaurant located inside the main entrance of the Clarion Hotel on Garrison, next to the City Hall and YMCA. They serve breakfast and dinner and have a very nice bar and lounge. The dining room seats about 200 with lots of tables and booths. The corner booths are round and seat 6-8.I was at the restaurant for a private luncheon. There was a buffet that included a fantastic mixed green salad, tortilla chips and salsa, chicken fingers, fresh cut potato wedges, french fries and lots of finger desserts. The food was excellent as was the service.I had a quick look at the menu as I'd like to return. There are lots of choices for breakfast and dinner. The dinner entrees are more high end - steaks, etc,., and as such is a little expensive. ($15+) This should be no surprise as it designed to cater to the hotel guests and there is no competition on the premises.Overall, a very nice dining experience at the higher end that is great for business meetings or personal dining."
