"No frills cheap eats and drinks with vegan options. The service is average. They accept cash only and will not split bills no matter how busy or empty the place is. The vegan rib dinner is really yummy as are the poutines."

"This place is at most, a minute walk from my front door, I walk past it daily and skirt the line ups, especially for weekend breakfasts. Finally went for lunch. They spared expense on the décor, that's for sure, not much better than the previous greasy spoon that occupied this spot. It's really a tiny place, no atmosphere but I don't think they were going for atmosphere, and that's OK. Short menu, interesting, but nothing that I just had to have. My companion had the fried chicken dinner, I had the fried chicken sandwich. Both were served with very good fries but the chicken itself, a big disappointment. Also, I wish places would pay more attention to the bun they serve their burgers etc. on. This was really dry and supermarket variety. For the price, totally unacceptable. Pleasant server and the guy at the grill was friendly, too. Only two other diners on a mid week lunchtime. I don't think I'll go back, even though it's so close by and could easily be my go to spot. Prices are quite high for just average greasy spoon food. Can't figure out why the line ups. Not worth lining up for. Not at all."

"This is a local restaurant which is friendly and the tapas can be very good or just ok. Four of us ordered around 12 dishes and only one or two were not really good. We arrived early and the music was a bit loud. We asked if they could turn it down and they did. The wines were really good. The Portuguese red was superb. I wish I could remember the name. I'll have to go back. Even though the place was small we weren't rushed. They have outside seating as well. Service was generally good. We were there on a hot July night (32 outside) and as the night wore on and the place was full the heat inside was getting unpleasant."

"This was my favourite place for fish tacos in all of Toronto. And then they changed their menu and the fish tacos are completely different. New tortilla, less fish and different slaw and sauce. The new taco doesn't even compare to the old one. This is the second place in the junction that changed their menu recently. I don't get why these places change something just for the sake of change!"

"Very nice place. Small, cozy and good food. Things I didn't like were that the table was missing a better cleaning and service was not friendly. Waiter didn't greet us or present himself. We had to chase him in order to get his attention.With that said I will still return there again, as he was probably just having a bad day."
