"Heard this restaurant was serving Ecuadorean food decided to give it a try. I had been there years ago when it was just a Mexican restaurant but wasn’t a regular since I thought their food was average. I really enjoyed the encebollado with patacones (fried green plantains). It had delicious flavor, good amount of fish and yuca, but the ceviches are no where near an authentic Ecuadorean ceviche. It lacks the lime juice and generous amount of purple onion and cilantro. The service was very good, our waitress went above and beyond. The only reason I won’t give it it 5 stars is because it has a weird stench when you first walk in and bathrooms lacked attention. Overall, I will come back to eat the encebollado and maybe give the Mexican menu a try again."
