Die Zutaten sind frisch und das heißt naturlich, dass das Essen auch seine Zeit braucht bis es beim Gast ist. Aber dafür wartet man gerne ein paar Minuten mehr. Daumen hoch an die Küche und natürlich auch Daumen hoch für den Service. Der Service ist aufmerksam und natürlich dezent zurückhaltend. "The restaurant was on the way and I came back for lunch. De Familie Kellenbenz already runs the fifth-generation restaurant and has a very charming and busy hostess with Kattya. The location on a main road or intersection is not particularly beautiful. Surely it is the plus of the hotel with the connected restaurant and that it is so well visited. At noon you will find all pensioners, businessmen with foreign visits or hotel guests. Parking is available on and behind the house, parking is also on the opposite side. The last renovation with the olive-green floor tiles, the rustic dark brown furniture and the colorful fabric-related seats of the chairs has been long since. Although everything is clean and well maintained, this is not my taste, except for the real orchids on the Simsen. The menu (also can fulfill all your wishes: main dishes from the lunch card (from 11.30 am to 2 pm, with and without day soup in small or large part, steaks and fish from the grill in different sizes (small, medium, large, summery main dishes, twice vegetarian with 9.40 euros and 11.90 euros, swabs, classical, soups, desserts. All dishes are available as small and large portions. I could not find and ask any carvings of the calf; that is also done. I like the salad buffet. Builds about 12 bowls with various salads, such as fresh tomatoes, herbs, potato salad, cucumber slices, carrots, beans, leaf salads, two different salad sauce as well as crumbs, sunflower seeds and earlier even nuts. The salad plate can be joined together and is definitely made by the service if desired. There comes a large piece of magervene, even picked and fried in butter, not hard and dry, but as it should be and with a lemon gap in a press. the part of Pommes for both of us comes on a plate and would have been easy for four people. The large part of the Wiener Schnitzel with Pommes (18,20 Euro) is too much for me and I would order the next time the small version (15,20 Euro). A very friendly younger waiter served us. Even our special request he could confirm immediately without consulting the kitchen. Later, as host and host, he asked if everything is correct. For lunch, with its floor and bourgeois cuisine at any time. For the evening or special occasions I wish a modern ambience. A large space without divisions simply makes no sense for well-being."

"We stopped here on the last evening of our EU driving trip. Wasn't sure what to expect as we heard good things. Service was excellent, very helpful and made great suggestions on wine and food. All the dishes we ordered were well prepared and excellent. We tend to pass dishes around the table and everything was very good. Desserts were excellent. Outdoor seating in the courtyard available as well as nice seating inside."
