"As a couple that both work weekends ! We don’t have time to cook Sunday lunch . So each Sunday we have a takeaway from The George and I must say it never disappoints!!! With a fantastic choice on the Sunday lunch menu , we never get bored and have tried all the meat dishes , all of which have been superb. Just like a home cooked meal . Fresh veg crispy roasties , tender meat and home made Yorkshire and gravy . Definitely recommend"

"Happened to be in Headcorn today, so I popped in the tearooms seeing as I’ve heard so much about it! On arrival , we was approached by a lovely young waitress, who told us to take a seat and would we like any drinks while we was browsing through the menu. They have a huge variety of different food; From breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals. We opted for the Ham, Egg Chips that comes with a baguette . I was rather disappointed as the ham ,that is supposedly so popular, came out rather chewy and thick. The eggs and chips was okay, edible I would say. And unfortunately the baguette was over baked , if I ate I would have needed to take a trip to the dentist! After eating what I could, another lovely professional waitress, who I presumed was the manager or in charge, cleared my plate and asked if I would like anything else. The homemade cake (coffee walnut was delicious! And went down a treat with my vanilla milkshake (made from ice cream! . All of the girls made me feel so welcome and comfortable!! Overall, I will be returning, however next time maybe I’ll go for something else!"

"Went for breakfast on a very cold wet morning. Very friendly welcome. They were happy to toast my gluten free bread, the coffee was very good, and hot. Popped back for a quick lunch."

"We use this garden centre quite a lot ........as it is actually a proper garden centre ! it sells good quality plants and trees. It has a big selection of garden tools and implements ......in fact all you need for the garden........ at reasonable prices.....plus it has other interesting concessions.........as apposed to the centres that are really a series of expensive concessions geared to people who want a latte in a posh cup and to buy a pair of pink spotted gardening gloves to snip flowers in their imaginary rose garden....... So for true gardeners this is a real cafe .....good food , polite staff very clean..and very safe.......does a good breakfast or bacon sandwich!"
