"This place is ran by children. I've never gotten an order done correctly after 5pm. My last order was so simple I figured a child could fix it. An order of fries no matter how small should have more than 7 fries in it. Also received 2 tatter tots and what I assume was a piece of macaroni in it. My advice is order a drink ..even a monkey can fix that. Food: 1"

"We've eaten in Smith's often this last year after moving to the area. They have an extensive lunch and dinner menu with a variety of comfort food. The breakfast menu is somewhat less robust, but has the typical eggs, omelets (3 egg), pancakes, waffles, meat, biscuits, gravy and hash brown. They also offer a Sunday buffet, but I didn't try. On Thursday morning we were there before 10 a.m. and could not order our usual chicken meat, potatoes, white engraving, green beans and a dinner roll, which is almost always delicious (more on this later). Instead, she had pancakes with two scrambled eggs on the side and I had a western omelet (with sausage instead of ham), hash browns and a cookie with Gravy instead of toast. A frosty, bottomless glass of sweet teas helped to lubricate the pipes. My meal was, as usual, absolutely delicious. Her pancakes were a bit overcooked, but still very tasteful. The tea is almost always excellent. This brings me back to the previous almost always comment and the reason why I gave four and not five stars. We have sometimes experienced inconsistencies in the quality, quantity and preparation of our chicken meat dishes. There were also times when the sweet tea tasted a little, I guess because the pre- and/or storage container went too long without shrub. We also experienced the rare instance in which our server underlined. However, these events are unusual. And since this restaurant regularly has 100 or more people for serving, and the occasional bus load for a meal during its passage along the highway 13 can not be a small task, the amount of food and personnel required for the demand. Speaking of server, that day, Kim took care of us. Thank you. Johna, who is almost always there, welcomed us like family. We appreciate goodness. Many of the employees have a long history to work here and they make their customers feel welcome at home."

"What a great find! Stopped by on my Saturday are cruising around. First off the ladies working inside were so sweet to and hooked me up good. Second, if they charged me $10 more for the same pulled pork sandwich I'd probably buy two just so I had one for later. That was damn good!
