"I always appreciate a good decent place to sit down and enjoy a meal with my sweetie. So it was a delight to be able to stop in for a lunch on our way home from vacation. I was initially hesitant, due to a couple of bad reviews. But when I saw the reviewers obviously had a political agenda, I said- Let 's give it a go, honey . Very nice, clean and welcoming. My Reuben was great and the salad I opted for was fresh and crisp with mixed greens, cukes and cherry tomatoes. For just $12. Fair enough. So...ignore the nay sayers. They obviously haven 't been here."

"Let me first say that this place is amazing! The waiting staff is fast and SUPER friendly. They treat you as if they knew you for YEARS! The cinnamon roll French toast is probably one of the biggest things anyone can put in their mouth! Now the only reason for the 4 star (I wish I could be 4 and a half) is the chicken fried steak was quite lifeless. Very embarrassing on the steak and gravy. And the cookies seemed very bought. But I would never eat here again!"

"Great food, great people, great vibes. Very LGBT friendly! I don 't think there 's anywhere else around here quite as good as what 's brought to the table at McFiler 's. It 's also cool to always see, regardless of the time of day or night, people sitting around, talking and having a drink after a long day. Glad this place came in and replaced the old run down bar where dreams went to die that we all knew as Rumors , lol. Much nicer, classier joint in it 's place now. No disrespect to anyone who worked there but a place like McFiler 's and a businessman like the owner of McFiler 's is exactly what this area has needed for a long time."
