"Little local hole in the wall. A true family restaurant. Mom served us, daughter (8 or 9) patting out the tortillas for our order, dad working the grill. This is the first place I have been where the tortillas are made to order. What a treat - soft and crispy and hot and luxurious wrapped around the generous chicken tacos. The tortas were huge and fresh and loaded with lettuce, tomatoe, onions and avocado. Hot, hot meat with cool crisp veggies and rich avocado all on a ciabatta style bun. 5 of us ate here for 212 pesos (about $16). No liqor or beer here, just pop. 4 tables crammed in and a steady stream of locals. You are basically in the family's front living room and the decor matches - knick knacks, family photos, old christmas decorations and some sketchy wiring give the place it's atmosphere. Do not expect to be impressed by the look of the place, but if you look closely, it's very clean. Friendly, smiling service. No english, but no problem - they'll be happy to serve you. Open for lunch, supper and into the night."

"My husband and I love the shrimp cerviche tortas and at 38 pesos (currently less than $2 US) the price can't be beat. Friends have ordered and loved the fried shrimp tortas and the tacos and tostados. It's located on the transversal a little past avenue 100."

"We pass this place in the morning, and saw a lot of locals eating there. That's why we decide to come back there later and it was worth it :) If You will have a chance just go there and try :) it's cheap and delicious, and fresh :) what else You expect :)"

"Better food than some and some great views of the ocean (be careful swimming as the rips are really bad on the east side.) Decent service but normally closes around 4PM as there is no electricity on that side of the island."

"Wow prices were great and so were my chicken tacos. Seriously one dollar sol beers, and 4 chicken tacos with decent filling and very tasty only $5. Small place with all outside seating but right on side of the plaza near ferry drop off. Wish I had a place like this back home! Definitely go if you're in the area. Hopefully they'll have soap in the men's room by then."

"After a swim at the beach in front of Tikila, I went upstairs to the restaurant, nice wait staff, ordered a coke with a glass of ice and pork ribs. The plate had ribs, french fries and chips/dip. All the food was hot and tasted good for a moderate price. I like this place and normally make a shore dive here because Mario and his staff are nice and not overbearing. Laid back and good christian people. I like to have a drink or snack while watching the dive boats come in and the snorkel boats drop the snorkels. There are lots of Iguana's that hang out by the shore. Lots of divers here. I have been going there for about 2 years and its always good. Yes, I will continue to go."
