"This is a very busy restaurant so it is a bit noisy but the food is just excellent.We ended up eating downstairs in the Bar/pub (rather than waiting for a table) but they serve the same food as in the main dining room. We ordered the salmon pie and Gaspesie pea soup. This came with a garden salad with a dressing to die for. Our server was very polite and pleasant and despite being busy did not rush about and ignore us. We arrived about 7 o'clock so perhaps earlier would not be so busy."

"Hôtel qui ne mérite pas vraiment les éloges des commentateurs et le capital sympathie auprès des guides de références. La décoration est disparate et vieillotte. Aucune harmonie dans le choix des couleurs, des matières et du mobilier. La chambre était mal insonorisée avec un bruit de fond de la chaufferie générale. La robinetterie de la salle de bains est en plastique et le sèche cheveux ne fonctionnait pas. A ce tarif (119$) avec petit déjeuner sans les taxes, on est en droit d'attendre mieux. C'est dommage car il est bien placé et bénéficie tout de même d'un certain cachet. Il mériterait une bonne rénovation dans le style de l'époque avec de beaux matériaux pour être en cohérence avec ses tarifs. Concernant la cuisine, aucun commentaire car pas testée."

"In my opinion, this is one of the worst places to eat in Gaspe. The service was horrible. The waiter me and my boyfriend had might have been a bad apple but it was awful. He did not seat us. He when we were ordering we was rude and cut us off. He never stopped by our table to see if we were enjoying our meal. (We weren't) He made a small error on our bill and when I asked him if he could change it for us he got extremely frustrated with me. He refused to fix it entirely which added 4$ to and already overpriced meal for 2. When it came time to do the transaction i made and error with my pin and asked to restart which made him even more angry at me. The food was mediocre. We had ordered poutine and it came with like this weird zesty tomato sauce instead of regular gravy. It was ok but not want we had ordered."

"Absolutely fabulous! A little pricey, but right in line with prices of restaurants in our area (New England). The tap selection is disappointing, for a craft beer aficionado but the bottle selection is deep and varied tons of good choices although each is a Quebec sized bottle. The fish and chips were perfection; I had some sort of creative burger with sausage, kimchi and beer mustard. All the sauces, breads, and mayonnaises are made in house, as noted on the menu. The ambiance is funky but also sports bar, high end restaurant and family restaurant a curious mix that I think would make many many people happy. Ah yes, and for dessert I had the poor man's pudding with maple and bacon,served warm and melts in a syrup can with homemade vanilla ice cream to die for!"
