"Absolutely fantastic Chinese. I highly recommend the Sunday buffet, theres alot of choice and at a great price. The food is brilliant quality, always piping hot and fresh but most importantly full of flavour. The staff are always friendly and nothing is to much trouble. Nicest Chinese for miles!"

"My son wanted to treat me to breakfast on his day off and thought we'd try here for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised how lovely and friendly the place and staff were. Made to feel very welcome. The food was excellent! I had poached egg on advocado with asparagus. Perfectly cooked and delicious. My son had the full English. Again perfect. Top ingredients. The prices are more than fair. Will definitely be going back to try the afternoon tea and have recommended it to several people. What a lovely relaxed and friendly cafe and staff. "

"Had breakfast wrap and an Americano. The breakfast wrap was AWFUL. Tasteless and goodness knows what sort of sausage was inside. The queue to get the coffee mounts up quickly as its the same queue to order and pay. Bless him the guy who serves the food is pleasant but looks bored. I just can't believe the garbage food I was served"

"The stanhill pub is an unlikely place to find vegan options, but proves the growing popularity of veganism. the stanhill has recently introduced a vegan menu, which is also not a tokengeste, but well thought out with creative feed. I had a chat with chef chef nathan by e-mail before our visit to my allergies and was impressed by his answer and geduld with my asking. we were shown to a cozy table for two and had a quiet drink while we went through the menu and chose appetizers of mushroom and spinat bruschetta for me and lauch and kartoffel soup for naves. our appetizers were excellent, the suppe was thick and velvety, the mushrooms were perfectly cooked and the food was well seasoned. I knew which main course hubby would choose as he loved tofu and although my intention was to have the vegan fish and chips, I chose the gnocchi. the most important courses as the appetizers were absolutely spot on, packed with big aromen and quickly torn off, although I left a little gnocchi as it was a big part. my experience surpassed my expectations, so many menus sound promising and are a complete one can be eaten, but not in stanhill. I had a quick word with the house manager sam, who said that the vegan menu was popular with not only vegan, but also not vegan. I think the fact that they offer the vegan menu for all customers and is not hidden as many places, is a great idea. my only light critique is his shame that the weeping list does not contain vegan friendly wee, so I have made a photo and will explore before my next visit, but hope the stanhill will look for the future. I will definitely return sooner than later, as there are so many dishes I want to try, as well as hubby. highly recommended."

"We visited the cafe because every other cafe in Great Harwood was closed but we were glad we did . We all had two coffees each and it was lovely coffee with very friendly staff . Clean and tidy place ."
