"Wanted to try some German-inspired breakfast. Found this place at the Sun Valley Mall, which seems to be attached to a hotel, surrounded by mountains. While we were there, Santa popped in. Service is fast, efficient friendly. Fresh-squeezed orange juice, open kitchen, pastry display, and diverse menu included variations in omelettes, Benedicts, crepes, even avocado tower toast. Order your breakfast with Yukon rosti (hash brown patty). English muffins taste scratch-made, a little more soft silky. They have a soup with spaetzle"

"Nice menu and nice staff. Was open Monday which was helpful. I know there are staff shortages so be patient with the staff that are there...they're working lots of hours! Our muffin and drinks were worth the wait. Look forward to trying the made to order breakfast next time. Also the signature drinks looked great I didn't notice until after I ordered so will try next time."

"Our Culinary class came to Ketchum for a Tour of the Limelight Hotel. Big Wood Bread Cafe was chosen for lunch. We were a big party, but they did great taking our orders and getting the food out!! I was extremely amazed by how awesome my Big Wood Club was. The Coleslaw was out of sight! Great job to all. There front of house staff and the Back of house crew Rocked it!! Will highly recommend this place!! I will be back."

"The place is like a classic diner with some modern improvements. They give you plenty of food, and the quality is above average. What is unique about this place is their bakery items. The pumpernickel bread is house made! Mild, but still house made. House made croissants and other things put this restaurant above average and a good place to go. Just be aware, things are priced the as you would expect in Ketchum/sun valley. Also, be prepared to use the salt shaker plentifully. The breakfasts we had were greatly under seasoned."
