"Been here a few times now, over the last year. Have to say, our first visit was the best, and the other visits have been average. Came in the other day, stood around for a minute or two, unsure if we order at the register, or sit down to order. The tables don 't have menus on them and there are no generic table service or order here signs. Two of the staff saw us, and gave us a friendly greeting. We asked, do we order at the register or take a seat? Just take a seat anywhere and we 'll come grab your order. We sat in the closest available table, in plain view of the two staff. Now anyone who was paying attention to us, would certainly have seen we sat at a table without menus (virtually no tables had menus anyway .... so we waited to be approached. Surely by one of the two staff standing around, who saw us walk in and sit at the table? Nope. We waited 5 10mins. No approach from staff. I guess since no tables had menus, none of the staff can really be sure who has ordered and who has not! We got lucky, saw a table that had just left and we pinched their menus. I wasn 't happy with this lack of attentiveness service. They certainly werent overly busy. Coffee good. Food 7/10. Cons: Our rostis were very oily, and my tea was just a tea bag in a loose tea pot. Double the filters? Why not just remove the tea pot filter and pop the tea bag straight into the water? Or even better! Use loose tea! Our food took about 30mins to arrive, which I suppose is average. I guess my complaint is about the staff not being sure about their processes. When our food did arrive, of course our hot drinks were well and truly finished. But as the waitress handed our dishes and began to walk away, I had to stop her to ask if she could please clear our mugs from the table (very cluttered otherwise . They were clearly empty. But perhaps she only clears tables when people leave? Not as we go. Heck, she could 've tempted us to order another drink each! Finished with these I see. Can I get you another coffee/tea? . Sure! Overall; friendly service, good food, good coffee, good atmosphere. Prices average. To the owner ensure your staff processes are up to scratch. Clear a table, put a menu on it! Once they 've ordered take their menus. Repeat. So much easier for staff to see who is still yet to order. We 'll be back :"
