"Can 't say the young lass with glasses was the best for the closing shift. Idk what time the place closes. 1550 approached to ask for coffee. Her shoulders slumped and she sighed. Great, I feel real welcome here. I asked for long black coffee extra shot no sugar. When she said it back it was with 1 sugar. I repeated the order again. Payed and sat down to wait. She didnt even ask if that was for dine in or take away. She served up a flat white. I said sorry but I asked for a long black. The attitude was not apologetic for the mistake, it was just that of annoyance. Am I supposed to feel guilty she got the order wrong? I should have confirmed with her when I got the remade coffee that it was extra shot. Because of course it was not extra shot like I asked. Is it even worth writing this review? Is this the same young girl with glasses I now see that there are bad reviews about? So does it even mean anything when you say you will report it to the operations manager? Evidently not as she is still providing poor customer service. Overall my experience was u pleasent and I am left wishing I had just gone to Mecca 's instead. They may dither around and make me wait, but at least they don 't get my order wrong multiple times. Edit: I ended up tipping out half my coffee. It just isn 't enjoyable when it isn 't what you ordered. Really feel like I wasted my money there. Edit 2: I made a mistake before thinking there were multiple bad reviews about the same girl when in fact it is just the 1 review by Lynn from 3 weeks ago. More than once is still pretty bad tho. I will be rather disappointed if the response I recieve about her is the same copy paste we will pass on your comments to our operations manager that you give to every other bad review you have recieved."

"So disappointed with the cooking and for the prices you would expect a larger portion of food that you would normally see. Ordered a bowl of soggy pasta that tastes like it is being made in the microwave. Also ordered a Kingston salad that tastes like the coleslaw from Woolworths mixed with some mango and random vege bits. Very disappointed for the price."

"Arrived in town vey late and found this place due to heading to the seafront road. We had a pizza between us which was more than enough for a late night bite to eat. The beer was good and the service prompt. The location was vey warm even at 10pm,especially having travelled from Melbourne in the south."

"Nice staff, food and drinks came out at a timely matter and being that it's a small restaurant they put focus on it like it's a big restaurant!!! Most of all the serves were knowledgeable which is a big plus as well!The ambience was nice but we were looking forward in tasting some good vegan food! When our female server came by she seem uninterested for us being there. Maybe a bad day? We were our cheery selves but she just wanted us to place our drink and main order, no chit chat like was this our first time here or not. Share any recommendations if popular dishes, etc."

"EDIT: Revisited and portions seem to be larger and better value. A TCE big brekkie was too large for me to finish (just), and I normally eat very large meals. Score has been increased by one star. Last star missing due to coffee being good but nothing exceptional. Overall a nice place for a drink and maybe some food, but it has what I would consider some easily solvable issues. Firstly drinks. We had ice coffees and they tasted great, but what I did not expect at such a nicely dressed and sit down location was to be served in takeaway cups. Plastic takeaway cups. I initially thought someone must have made a mistake but as I watched other customers being served I noticed the only thing being served as sit down was hot coffee in mugs. Smoothies and other drinks were all being served in plastic takeaway cups. Considering the price and apparent quality I found this very unusual and not at all pleasant. For food I had the TCE Salmon, my review photo is joined. It was mediocre at best. For a full size lunch it was very small and contained little that felt filling. The taste was ok with the salmon and avocado being nice but the toast and cheese lacking much flavour at all. By the end of the meal I felt I was finishing it to not waste food, not because I wanted to. Overall I feel this place could do so much better with just a few touch ups to the drinks presentation and food quality. It looks and feels great and has a surprisingly homey feel despite being in the middle of a shopping centre."
