"I stopped at Terry's Comfort food, Main street Penticton. I ordered an omelet mushroom and ham. 10 minutes later my food arrived handed to me by the cook, the server explained that my breakfast does not look very good, before he set it down and replied I don't have to eat it he would cook me another. I was pressed for time and said let me see it, it looked like mixed vomit, but not trying to be difficult, I started with the toast but it was so soaked with butter it was wet. The waitress saw my disapproval and asked what was wrong, I said the food was disgusting, I explained, I'm done and I would like my bill, before I could pay, the cook came out from the kitchen and said the reason for the mess was he didn't have frying pans. Again I asked to pay. The cook then took offence to me leaving and asked me to never come back. What he doesn't know is I recorded the conversation at the door on my phone. I guess he was having a bad day, any one can. By looks of my food and his attitude the Café is apply named. Stephen"

"It's just another fast food place but is O.K. I would very much like to see a category in Trip Adviser for R.V. Parks Resorts such as Gold Trail R.V. in Clinton B.C., Country Roads R.V. in Yuma AZ. Valley View R.V. in Ely,...Nevada etc etc"

"Somehow this place has won best breakfast in Penticton since 2006. Our breakfast was miles away from the best I've ever had. It was bland and the hash browns were clearly store bought. There were flies all over the place, but otherwise things were clean. Service was mediocre-We had to ask the waitress to take our order and when I was paying, she took a phone call that was clearly not a customer calling the store. Not recommended and definitely not going back."

"If you want quick service and excellent food Shades On Main has it down to a tea. I liked the happy family style environment, pleasant management and food to please. It's an easy place to find right on Main Street with parking behind."

"Food and service used to be terrific, then the menu changed and it was ok pub food. Tonight the service was absolutely terrible even though it was not at all busy (3or 4 other tables occupied). I was 1 of a table of 7. All others at my table had been served 1 or 2 meals at a time and all had finished their meals before mine arrived. I cancelled my food order and was never even given an apology. Drinks took a ridiculous long time to arrive as well. 15-20 minutes for a beer. It doesn't take an hour and a half to make a veggie quesadilla. This regular customer won't be back for a really long time."
