"Stopped by again recently, as I needed a quick lunch and a coffee. The slightly deconstructed chicken pot pie was actually very good: lots of veggies and chicken in the bottom, and the pie was crispy and had a nice herbal flavour. The coffee was...also very good. But the place is certainly worn down, with the furniture looking quite distressed, but not in shabby chic way, just shabby... Even the cutlery looks as if it 's through the mill a thousand times... This could be a spectacular coffee house, with a stunning location and oodles of decor potential, but sadly the owner is not investing in these customer friendly opportunities..."

"Brewsters has been a favourite for my family and I ever since we visited for the first time about two years ago. The nachos, especially are amazing!! The staff is friendly, and it has a reasonably good ambiance. Great place for lunch or dinner, or even just a snack."

"Great place for happy hour food specials for families and delicious craft beer for the parents. For $50 we had 6 good sized fish tacos, a dozen oysters and four delicious beers. Great service and food. Will definitely return"

"Stopped in with my wife to try their food -- I had noticed 1 day ago that they were now opened. We tried a few things off the menu. We had one of their signature burgers, Jalapeno poppers, poutine fries and shakes. All were pretty good although they did glitch on the poutines -- we did not get them and had to ask a manager for them and they were regular fries and not the criss/ cross fires as asked. The food is good though and there is lots of parking unlike the 16th Ave location."

"My wife and I stopped in at the 99th Avenue Cafe for lunch the other day. If you just want a bowl of soup, which we usually go for, they have always had great homemade soup. This time I opted for a cheesburger with a side salad. It was as well home made and one of the best I have had. As reported earlier on another review, the servers are all friendly and welcoming. You could be in a small town diner where everything is home made and tasty."
