"Fun, casual bar with a great outdoor space. It's also large group and dog friendly so there are options for different group sizes. There's a good mix between cocktails and beer options. I've tried some food items and they're classic bar food options. The staff is also great friendly and attentive."

"I loved the food. I been a fan of Sam 's YouTube channel for years and I have been wanting to try Not Not Tacos for the longest time, being from Arizona, and finally had the chance so I took it when visiting LA and came through SD. We had It 's a Date taco combo. It was definitely worth it. We ordered the Korean Short Rib, Mashed Potatoes, Kelly 's Shrimp, Nashville Hot Chicken and chips and guacamole. It was all good and delicious especially the tater tots because they had tons of flavor compared to other food spots I 've had where it 's just plain Jane tots. Mashed potatoes and Nashville chicken are tied as my favorites, the chicken had great flavor and was really juicy, and the mashed potatoes reminded me of my childhood because my mom would make mashed potatoe tacos and it is one of my favorite tacos to eat. Definitely would go again next time I 'm in San Diego. Also recommend trying guacamole in any and all the tacos or tots too, it was all bomb together! Can 't wait for my next visit and hopefully I get the chance to meet Sam next time.Parking: There 's a small parking garage under the same building but limited parking. But there 's plenty of parking on the street but a small challenge. It 's to be expected, the area looks busy."

"2 times in less than 2 months that this location has charged my card double for random amounts while they take my card at the drive thru! Different charges!! One of the times they even forgot to give my card back and as soon as I got their attention atthe window that she forgot to give it back it had already been swiped again with a completely different charge. When I realizedthere was no receipt in the bag and walked in to get one and bring up the extra charge for a completely different amount thelady was rude and annoyed to have to pay back the money. The other time I had to have my bank fight the charge since this samelady didnt give a receipt for the other time and it wasnt until later that I noticed the 2nd charge. How is it possible thesethings keep happening at this location??? I honestly feel like they are running peoples cards multiple times to pocket money orfood. Not sure what is going on but this being the 2nd time in 2 months...something sketchy is going on. We will not be back.There is a scam happening here. I should also add that I believe it is the manager who was dealt with during these 2 incidents,rude when we ask about OUR stolen money and multiple card transactions. Very very fishy!"

"This place was absolutely amazing! The service was nothing short of perfect; we were sitter quickly and our order was taken quickly, our server was also friendly, helpful, and patient when we weren't sure what we wanted. The ambience inside is low-key and intimate with vibrantly colored plants and a view of the kitchen from the inside dining area. This place truly exemplifies the vibe of the area. Now for the good stuff, the food: We had crispy fried green beans, warm house bread, a bottle Coke, and peach tea to start. The green beans were light and crispy and the sauce they came with tasted amazing. The bread was like a little warm cloud served on a board. It was obviously served right when it was done and the difference was clear, this bread was delicious! For our main entrees we had the Cardiff crack burger with truffle fries and the Encontro burger with chips. One bite of the Cardiff crack burger and it's clear it really lives up to the name. The meat was juicy, tender, and endlessly flavorful. This was easily one of the best burgers I've ever had. The Encontro burger was also amazing, the sauce was perfectly balances and the brioche bun was airy and delicious. The meat on this burger was also cooked perfectly and oh so juicy! To finish off the night we enjoyed the butte cake--this thing was no joke! We ordered it after it was highly recommended by our server and it was served so aesthetically with delicious fruit puree adorning the plate. The cake itself was rich and sweet. The ice cream on top was the perfect compliment and it was a perfect end to a great night at Encontro! I recommend this place to anyone looking for something delicious and the variety to choose from."
