"Being cheese lovers, we had to try L'Affiné. Their menu is full of cheesy options, from cheese plates to a variety of gratins. The service was good, despite the language barrier (we don't speak much French). Always had water at the table, which is not uniformly true of restaurants in Tours. When our cheese plates came out, someone who spoke English came by to explain what was on our plates. The cheeses spanned a wide range of funkiness from mild and milky to the harshest cheeses I have ever eaten. Also included was the best hunk of butter I've ever tasted in my life. Definitely an experience I would recommend."
